I bought some of these from another seller and they were junk, would not seal had to return them, but these fittings work great, no problem sealing at all.

I needed to connect a 3/8 male power steering hose to a 3/8 male power steering pump. Thanks for the picture showing the inverted flare. The SAE flare seat union looks like a volcano on both sides. The 3/8 fitting threads are 5/8-18. There are other unions with a similar description and a generic picture. But they are for a DIN flare seat that looks like a funnel on both sides. Cant use those for my application.
