Your cart is empty.Allstar Black Starter Solenoid features a starter solenoid in a Ford style and has a black finish. The Ford-style solenoid is perfect for use with high torque racing starters. The flat base eases mounting and a remote under hood starter switch or timing light hook-up can be easily adapted. A wiring kit is also available by ordering Allstar part 76201. It is sold separately. It is backed by a 90-day limited factory and sold individually.

My first car was a 1966 Mustang, so I learned how these solenoids work. Now I've been using this style for many years on small formula cars that take a beating (heat, vibration). Used the auto parts store versions for many years and they failed frequently. Switched to the Allstar Performance version a few years ago and am very happy. They last twice as long.

put two of these in parallel to use as a power cut off for my Jeep. works well and stays cool under load.

Bought this thing because a post had broken off one that I had bought from advance auto. This one was similar priced and looked cooler. Hooked it up and cranked it. Starter wouldn't turn off after that and had to pull the + post on the batt to get the starter to stop cranking. I've got another solenoid from advanced on there now and it works fine. don't waste your money on this junk.

Trying to tighted the starter down to the post. And the whole relay shatters in my hand. Literally holding it in my hand, I can't apply that much torque. Can't imagine if this was bolted in place how easy it would be to break.
