Add & fitment statement said they would fit my 57 Chevy 283 generation 1 heads, but they are for the 58 forward years.I had to order 4ea more of the longer bolts, as the generation 1 sbc heads don't use the 4 intermediate size.The short bolts were fine.Amazon made the order good by providing another full set, all I had asked for was 4 more of the longer bolts, but the guy on the chat line did it his way. Guess I got extra bolts out of the deal.They could save a lot of $ and time by simply dropping the 4 intermediate size and replacing with 4 of the longer bolts. Set then fits the Chevy small block V8's prior to 1958.Would have given 5 stars, except for sites claim they would fit as is. Bolts went in fine.

Stated was for a big block Chevy 454. Turns out was for a small block Chevy 350. Save your money and just go buy the parts at O'reillys

Well, I build a 388 stroker engine, with 13-1 compression and used this bolt kit. WHY you ask?? Well I bought a new head stud set, moved, lost it, and as you know, men and there toys, I had to the the long block built, put in and running. It has been on the engine for about 4 months now, no leaks and seems to be keeping pretty good clamping force. I did find the head stud kit now, and will run these until I replace the iron heads with aluminum heads, or until this set of bolts give out, or really get serious about road pounding this engine

aun no los he montado pues estoy esperando las juntas pero se ven muy bien a muy buen precio definitivamente los usaria en otro proyecto ya traen su fijador se los recomiendo

Another reviewer with pictures confirm that these bolts can't go past 45ft LB. I'm going to toss them out. I was feeling one almost breaking just past 40ft LB. I'm not going to risk it. What junk. They should list the torque tolerances on these. DO NOT GO PAST 45FT LB.
