There is a little bit of a learning curve on the set up and the iron works best for short periods but not for staying hot for longer periods of time. All in all a decent setup would recommend for small projects/repairs.

This product feels very sturdy. There is a good assortment of extra plastic pieces that come with it. It heats up quickly.I fixed a plastic running board on our vehicle that our son broke while learning to drive. Using the high wall staples made it easy to connect the split pieces. Then I used the smoothing tool and you can barely tell it was ever broken. It’s been over a month and it has held up very well.

The staple gun heats up quickly. The handle gets very warm. The staple gets red hot. But after about 2 or three minutes the staple gun shuts off. It takes a while before you can use it again.I used the smoothing attachment. It gets heated but it fails to smooth the plastic. Maybe it is not hot enough.The iron gets very hot. It is so hot that it melts the plastic. You have to be fast using it otherwise it melts the plastic.These tools are not worth the cost.

All I can say about that gun. Please see attached picture, first and last use. At least Amazon got me a full refund for that unfortunate purchase.
