A must have if you are removing wallpaper. When removing wallpaper you have to score the paper before you can use steamer or chemicals to take off walls. This little tools make this job so much easier. It is easy to grip and does the job.

Worked a bit better than the one from the hardware store until it broke. The center post is plastic eventually the scoring wheels were too high up and not toughing the wall anymore. However, I put a big washer over it, then set the scoring wheels back on the post, and it raised them up and it worked even better.

Removing wallpaper is a terrible task and I was trying many different types of tools and tricks. Many friends recommended this tool to score the paper so the water could get through. It wasn't the right tool for my wallpaper as it kept getting jammed up and didn't really let all that much water through. The better tool for me was a 4 inch razor blade tool that I used to scrape the top layer of water-resistant wallpaper off, then I could use a sponge and thoroughly wet the underlying layers that then scraped pulled off. While this tool didn't work for me, it did for several friends' wallpaper removal projects, so you may find it useful.

I was genuinely looking forward to using the Allway Wallpaper Perforating Tool for my renovation project, drawn by its promises of easy wallpaper removal. However, my anticipation quickly turned into frustration when it arrived without the critical component - the blades. A wallpaper perforating tool without blades is like a car without wheels, utterly useless. This isn't just a minor inconvenience; it completely stalls my project, causing unwelcome delays and the hassle of arranging a return or exchange. I had expected more from a company with a long-standing reputation, and this experience has been a disappointing deviation from the quality I anticipated. Future buyers, be wary and inspect your purchase immediately. As for me, I'm left to deal with the fallout of a stalled project and the task of finding a rapid solution. Two stars – and that's for the prompt delivery and the potential of the tool, should it have arrived intact.

This did help with scorching the wallpaper that was very difficult to take off. Then I used a steamer to loosen up the Wallpaper. Easy to take off.

This tool is amazing - we had to remove very old wallpaper, with paste, and that was put directly on dry wall. When described, it doesn’t make sense that it works, but it does. I found it by researching YouTube videos on the best way to remove wallpaper - find one of those and follow the instructions exactly. The most important thing to know is not to press down, use it with a light touch, and always in a circular motion.I keep mine in a box, because those tiny little blades are sharp.The only thing that would make it better would be for it to have its own protective case.Absolutely recommended.
