We are huge fans of this product. Ordering 3 more today. They clip on using magnetized ends and it’s very sturdy so won’t slip off with walking/running. Would be great to clip on waistband, or top to be very visible in the dark. Even has flashing red light for emergency. Our college age daughter has one for her backpack and one in her car in case of car issues at night. She can clip it on to see her way in the dark.Bought my elderly mom one in the event of power outage so she could remain hands free not needing to hold flashlight. These are really a must have in My opinion. You push to turn in, push again to cycle thru the options. Would be great to clip on kids in the dark.

I accidentally dropped this lamp in the snow near my parking space and it was buried for a week. I found it and took this picture after. The light was still bright as when I bought it. I’d given up hope of finding it. I love this light.

I had a similar clip-light for several years I liked (it was an Eddie Bauer). The magnetic latch is not particularly strong and does not work well with thick clothing. I lost it somewhere... This version is about the same, but includes a RED light option which is nice for night use. Brightness is good in most applications and I like the convenience of the magnetic clip. Just take care of how & where it is attached and take it of when you do not need it to avoid lose.

It is actually very large. I use it to light the inside of my purse so I can find things. Love It. Well made and worth the money.

I have read a few of the reviews on this light and decided I would give it a shot as I recently adopted a dog and am now out prowling the streets at night with her by my side. I wanted something that would illuminate an area and also provide visibility to drivers. I feel that the light is bright enough for our walks, and the red light options (solid and blinking) are both useful, but more so in brighter areas, as they don't light up the ground as much as the white light. The red lights are still great for safety. I clip the light onto the front of my jacket or onto my pants pocket and it lights up enough area for me and my dog to see obstacles and feel seen by others. My only complaint is that the light is very bright if it shines in your eyes, which is normal, but it seems that it happens more frequently as the light clip is quite shallow. I still give it five stars because it works great for my uses, and seems to be well built.

UPDATE: 3 December, 2017I put this light on my dog when I took her out last night, as I forgot to buy new batteries for the microlights that I normally use. It was raining then. Please do not — I repeat, do not — buy this light if you intend to put it on your dog and he/she will jump or shake his/her body, such as to shake off rainwater from his/her fur, while it is on him/her. The light may go off. After turning it back on, it also may not operate in the mode you desire. Two bad designs contribute to this problem. One, the batteries do not sit flat in the casing. They slant. Therefore, contact between the batteries and the metal contacts is not always maintained. Two, the casing is secured with only one screw (at one end of it). Therefore, when the light is shaken, the batteries inside can move, and contact is lost.INITIAL REVIEW belowI bought two of this item. It is very thoughtful of the manufacturer to include the smallish screwdriver to use when we need to replace the batteries. And throwing in the keychain microlight as a bonus is also appreciated. Now to the nitty-gritty.THE MAIN LIGHTThis light is all right if you hold it, because then you can direct the beam of light away from your eyes. It is also all right if you clip it to something on either side or the back of your body. It is not all right if you clip it to something on the front of your body, because of the glare of the light beam, unless you have something else to serve as shield. The claimed luminance of the LED is 25 lumens. Unfortunately, much of this is severely diffused and some get blocked (so, lost) by the silicone case. Therefore, the light is good only to illuminate your immediate area. As another reviewer has pointed out, it throws useful light across only some 5 feet. I have a few microlights, each rated at only one-fifth the lumens, but they can throw light as far as some 50 feet. In fact, when they are on beacon mode, cat’s eyes positioned up to some 100/120 yards away reflect the light from it.Caution: If you clip it to your dog’s collar, I would suggest that you do not clip it to the front part. Dogs’ eyes are very sensitive to light. That is why they can see even when it is too dark for us to discern anything. On the other hand, they cannot see well when the light is very bright. Therefore, if you clip it to the front part of the collar, your dog may not be able to see things directly in front of him/her.I am not quite satisfied with the light, and definitely will not put it any where on my furry companion. I have put mine in certain places in my home to serve as emergency lights in the event of power failure (brownouts/blackouts). Of course, one must bear in mind that my requirements may be totally dissimilar to those of many other people’s. What is unsatisfactory for the goose need not necessarily be also so for the gander.MICROLIGHTI am quite certain that the microlight that comes with the main light is one of the earliest commercial models, if not the earliest commercial model, made by Laughing Rabbit Inc., (LRI) of Blachly, OR. LRI has since discontinued the model. I bought two some ten years ago.Caution: Do be very careful when you unscrew the cover to replace the batteries. First, the screws are so tiny and black that once dropped, you may not be able to find them. Second, the switch assembly is delicate, and the LED can come free of the casing. Make sure you take careful note of how and where both are positioned, or else you will have the devil of a time putting them back together again and get the light to work.

Die Taschelampe ist sehr praktisch durch ihre Handhabung da sie schön klein ist, und man sie überall anklemmen kann. Was mir allerdings nicht gefällt, ist die Stärke des Lichtes

This light is a true game changer. All you do is clip it to the bottom of your shirt to angle it at your baby's bottom and you're able to change them without the light getting in their eye or waking them up. It is so easy to click on and off and so tiny. You can put it anywhere. I have a little dish with diapers and wipes in it and I've clipped it to the side and I've used it ever since!

This is absolutely perfect for night shift, it has an incredible magnet allowing you to attach it anywhere on your scrubs, the one touch start makes it easy to get the light regardless of what’s in your hand

Seriously bright white led light from this little thing. Also has red light with blinking push option. It stays closed magnetically to itself. However, I do wish the magnet was strong enough to still try to close itself even when there’s something in between them. I use it on my dog’s jacket, and the magnets don’t have enough strength to attract to each other and stay closed on her jacket. I had to loop it around a made up strap so it would attract and close itself. Other then that, I do like the lights it gives and the size it isðŸ‘ðŸ‘
