I was so surprised at this little thermometer. It's so fast & accurate & is much more durable than the previous brand I got where the probe falls out when cleaned. I need this for baking regular bread & gluten free recipes, because every time you open the oven the temperature drops so a fast read thermometer is best. It was a great value for the quality & they send an extra battery. It also has a magnet to stick on the side of my frig for fast & easy access instead of digging in a drawer. Perfect size & design for my hands & the display is super bright & the numbers don't need me to have my glasses on, bonus.

I bought this instant read thermometer over 4 years ago, after a series of other digital probe thermometers that either weren't instant, were sensitive to the heat anywhere you'd want to use it, or ruined some getting even the slightest amount of water in them.This one does everything it says, instantly and reliably. It held up with heavy use for over 4 years, and I'd recommend it for anyone who's looking for that convenience and ease of use.About a week ago, it started malfunctioning, giving 'LLLL' on any reading, even food under the broiler. I recalled that this was advertised with a 'LIFETIME GUARANTEE', and decided to reach out to Alpha Grillers directly to inquire on my options. They promptly responded very helpfully, saying with the right info from me they would just replace it. The replacement arrived just a couple days later.I look forward to enjoying the replacement for yet more years to come!

Pretty cool item. It is simple to use and has a couple different features that all work properly. I was disappointed to find out that the manufacturer and I have differing opinions on what is "instant". When smoking or roasting a low fire, you don't want to keep the smoker lid open to lose heat so quick temp reads are needed. Sadly this unit takes several seconds to reach temp. I use it, I like it, I would recommend it for the price.....it's just not instant.

Works as described. Thermometer takes an internal temperature and displays it in a clear, easy to read display. The display can be adjusted from Fahrenheit to Celsius. Not dishwasher safe.

I got this meat thermometer to use with my air fryer, and it’s been a fantastic help for cooking all types of meat. It reads temperatures quickly and accurately, has a bright backlit display, and is super easy to use straight out of the box. I love that the recommended meat temperatures are printed right on it! The probe is sharp, sturdy, and doesn’t wobble. A great tool for any home cook!

i even tested the accuracy, i compared it with the thermometer from hospital, it reads the exact body temperature as the hospital thingy

I bought it as a gift for my son and he tells me it works great. He has used it several times and finds it accurate and easy to read, and loves that he can wash it in the sink!! He also likes that it folds nicely to fit in the drawer.
