I ordered a terry cloth robe for my son to use after he showers. It was nice but fell apart the first time it was washed.Ordered this one & couldn't be happier. It's quite an upgrade from the other robe!This robe is well made and quite sturdy. It has a velour outer coat with a terry cloth interior. Makes for a more upscale and very comfortable wearing.My son is 5'11, 150lbs and the M/L fits nicely. A little loose for moveability which is great.It's much heavier than your average terry cloth robe so be sure to have a sturdy place to hang.Has been washed and dried (on gentle/low) and is in perfect shape with zero shrinkage.Well worth the cost, very pleased with purchase.

The Alpine Swiss Pure Cotton Men's Terry Cloth Bathrobe is a high-quality and super absorbent robe that I enjoy using.Soft and Absorbent:The terry cloth material is soft and does an excellent job of absorbing moisture, making it perfect for after a shower or spa.Comfortable Fit:The robe is comfortable and feels great against the skin.Size Issue:The only downside is that it runs a bit smaller and shorter than advertised. It would be perfect if it were true to size.Overall, it's a great robe, but be mindful of the sizing.

This is a very nice robe, soft and well made. We washed before wearing, it came out perfectly. I bought the XL-XXL, fits me good. I’m 5’9†and 210 lbs.

Comfortable and durable. Washing is not a problem , it stays in actual shape and size. This robe is made out of cotton content and it has pockets too.

So-called extra-large dressing gowns are not! I purchased this to replace a M&S gown which is getting rather shabby but still comfortable. I purchased a couple other gowns but they were disappointing. This was as described, fits nicely and is comfortable. Perfect. I liked it so much I bought a second one!

This Alpine Cotton Velour Bathrobe is absolutely superb as described and pictured.The XL/XXL was purchased for generous size of 51†L x 62†W x 22†arm x 30†sleeve.The size was perfectly accurate and did not shrink or change after several wash/dries with lots of dryer fluff,for a body size of 5’7â€, 180 lbs, 42†chest, 32†arm. It is a very large and roomy size.The positives are a thick extremely luxurious, very absorbent, soft interior terry and a plush, soft exterior velour that soaks up body moisture quickly after showering and dries quickly too. It's like a big warm towel bear hug. The shawl collar is very deep and thick, the sleeves very, very wide, the long tie belt remains closed, and the pockets big. The color white is rich and does not stain using body lotions or topical pain creams.The minor negatives are the arms are too wide at 10†as more for an elephant leg with the wrists catching on things, and arms are about 2†too long for a regular length. The size L/XL likely should have been offered, for a down size to fit body best.It’s certainly worth the reasonable low price paid as was labeled at $95 and worth more. It should last for years. A quality 100% cotton bathrobe. Recommended.

Despite the material not being what I expected I have kept this. It is warm, it is well tailored and the breast pocket is useful. It also has arms that are not too long. My one issue as mentioned by other reviewers is the belt is somewhat shorted than could be so it doesn't easily loop and bow to tie. For the sake of another 30 cms this could be easily remedied.
