I purchased the Alpinestars Hurricane 1 piece. I ordered the X-large according to size chart. Was to small. The torso (I do not have a long torso) area, between shoulders & crotch, was really tight so were the legs. I now have the XX. Fits much better. I am able to fit over my jacket (w/ padding) with no issue and still have excellent mobility. Legs fit well, but would not be able to have padded riding pants. I am 5'10" 210lbs. Today was the first day I was able to test it, 20 min. commute. It was a light rain but steady. Kept me perfectly dry. Even in the crotch area. A few drops entered thru back of neck, wrist, & ankle. But, that is expected. Tomorrow morning is suppose to be a heavy rain for my short commute to work. I will update as I get more use out of it.

Good rain suit and made to fit over your leathers. Seem to stay down on my boots even at freeway speeds and do keep the wind out on the cuffs. Cant go wrong for this price.

The sleeves are super loose and water just flies right in. The wind pushes the sleeves back and there is no way to tighten the wrist area. The legs are the same way just riding up but it doesn’t matter because your soaked from the sleeves. Of course I ordered because my gear went bad and then it didn’t rain for 5 weeks. When it did I broke out the gear only to get wet for 6 hours. The return window is closed 1 day late. Horrible don’t buy.

My crotch got wet in a heavy rain but I think that it would work well in light to moderate rain for short periods of time.

Great product, bump up a size though. If you plan to wear it over big jackets, bump up two sizes.

The suit is incredibly small. Very let down due to buying it 2days before a trip to Europe. Bought the 2xl and it’s more like a medium to large. If it had been the correct size it might have been ok due to its lightness but ??
