This is a nice piece that fits right into my Alpinestars jacket. The jacket unfortunately did not come with a back protector but I sure was glad to find this one. When I opened up it was very "flexible", which is good because you want that to conform to you back to take the shape when you're riding. I put it in my jacket and it fit perfectly. I really liked how it's light weight and flexible with CE protection.

I got this to replace the foam pad in my Alpinestars T-GP Plus R Air motorcycle jacket, and as expected, it dropped right into the jacket's back protector pocket. This circulates air as effectively as my jacket itself, so unless I walk around with my jacket on, or get stuck standing at a stoplight for a long period of time, I don't even notice this back protector is there.It's a dense rubber, so it may not be top of the line for safety gear in this regard, I think it's a great compromise if you want a cool (temperature) setup that affords some more back protection. I'm very happy with this, and although I've thankfully not had to test this protector's capabilities in a crash, I feel better knowing I have it should I go down while riding.

Does what it needs to but putting it on a mesh jacket compromises the airflow making it really hot. Other than that it’s pretty good.

I bought this to beef up the protection in a textile jacket that I ordered (Scorpion Eddy) as the installed padding just didn't seem like it was enough. It installed into the pocket in seconds, and I immediately felt much more confident in the safety of the jacket. The holes also allow for great airflow and doesn't feel constricting in any way.

Awesome quality as always, yes these are expensive for what they are but you get what you pay for. I ordered two sizes one for me and my wife, when it comes to her protection I always get the best, this doesn’t disappoint fits great in both of our jackets.

I guess it's difficult to be sure just how good this product is until I've taken a slide down the road on my back (!) but, hoping that never happens, I can say the Nucleon KR-2i seems to be well made and durable whilst still relatively comfortable to wear.I bought the KR-2i to replace the padded foam that comes supplied with the Alpinestars Jaws leather jacket, and it does the job well, fitting snugly into the back of the jacket and sitting comfortably against my back when riding. It's an obvious step-up in shape, looks and feel compared to the piece of floppy foam, and as it's CE-Level 2 certified it should be far more protective (for info the similar Alpinestars KR-1i is also CE-2 rated but is a little thicker, a little stronger but more rigid).The KR-2i is noticeably thicker than the foam it replaces (about 3 times thicker) so you do feel the difference when it's in the jacket (no more pies for me!), but it's malleable and bends to fit the contours of the back so it's surprisingly comfy. It's comfortable enough to wear with the jacket on when walking about for the day too.Other noticeable positives are it breathes well and allows air to flow nicely within the jacket, and it comes in a sealed branded packaging with a silica gel bag and instruction book. It feels and looks like a premium product.I'm pleased to have upgraded to a potentially back saving quality protector compared to the freebie piece of foam that wouldn't be much good much if the worst were to happen, and I feel more confident with the KR-2i in place when I ride. Definitely recommended.

Fits like a glove and is easy to install in compatible Alpinestars jackets. Soft and agile, you barely notice it’s there. Very comfortable. I much prefer this to separate back protection for road riding.

Une protection dorsale qui correspond parfaitement à la taille du manteau. Elle est solide et protège bien en cas de chute. De plus, elle est plutôt légère à porter. Je recommande ce produit.
