Many reviews mention how dark the lenses are...they are dark. Darker than the glasses that came with my laser. However, you can still see just fine as long as you are not in a dark room. I would rather protect my eyes, or my kids eyes since I actually bought these for them for when they want to see how the laser is working while it is running. They do the job and I can't complain. You could get away with ones that are a bit lighter if you want.

I wanted a second pair of these shade protectors to have a spare set for a new IPL device I just brought. They are dark, but not as dark as those in the IPL kit I bought.

My eyes were always sore after using my ulike hair removal. These are perfect! I actually thought my device was broken first time I wore them because they made such a difference. I love that they protect your peripheral vision as well.

I purchased this for my at home laser hair removal, treatment. While I find them to be incredibly comfortable, they are too dark and I cannot see what I am doing. If they were a little bit lighter, these would’ve been perfect.

I use my own laser for hair removal by LUX SKIN. Ideally it requires no laser glasses, but because the fact it is a laser, i am not taking any chances! Most laser safety glasses on the market are very expensive, they don't need to be! Amazon has these, and i am loving them. Thank you.

Bought these for use with an IPL to block out the light flashes and protect my eyes. These work perfectly as they are very dark. They're also large enough to fit over my glasses.

The price is a good attempt at low risk try out of a pair of laser protecting glasses.I think I zapped my right eye before now it’s not the same.At least now it’s protecting against 3 colours of lasers so there’s a bit of piece of mind from further deterioration of any eye sight…
