Fitment:
Fit for pre-1955 1st Series pickups, trucks, passenger cars, 216, 235, or 261 Che-vy 6 cylinder engines when upgrading to a modern alternator.
Correct 3/8 slotted mounting holes, powder coated black, and comes with mounting hard ware.

Simple install on my 1950 GMC 1/2 ton truck with a 228 cubic inch in line six. I had to slide as far back as it could go to align the belt. I did need to bend the top bracket just a bit to make it line up with the alternator. I would buy again.

Brackets look good. Yes I could have fabricated up some brackets. Dig around for the materials, designed them, cut them, smoothed them, welded them, cleaned up again, painted them, found hardware to fit. Thats a lot of time to save a little money.
