This is a great beginner instrument. My teen is using this to learn as a first time player. Does the job well. Sounds it good for a beginner level. Will need something more solid if he continues to play. The cost was better than renting.

I LoVe this like this great I think it’s should be five stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️3 years later. I think i needed an upgrade. Because here is the thing. I bought this trombone in fifth grade, and it was good at first. But then I notice that the slide starts to have rags. No matter how many times I took it to a shop to get repaired, the rags got worse. So, I got myself a Conn 88ho Symphonic Tenor F Attachment Trombone. No problems with my new trombone!Overall I give this Trombone a rating of 3.5 stars.

The slide broke while my kid was using it in band class. He didn't drop it, it just fell apart while he was putting it together. Can't be repaired. Save your money and get a better quality instrument.

Flat at first but was able to adjust it. Bought to replace my old one which was 6 years old. The slide bar was starting to lock up. This one works great!

My son is in the 8th grade and he wanted a new trombone for Christmas because his was a hand me down and it was like 10 years old and he loves it he’s been playing for 3 years

My son got this as a replacement, it sounds great and the case has a lot of storage. His only complaint is that one slide screeches a little bit even with oiling.

Decent initially however eventually when it slides it catches and grinds. Did oil and grease, went to music store and they said it's just cheap quality

I didn't expect it to be superb given the price, but I figured if the slide at least worked, it would be a worthwhile purchase for me. However, sadly the slide moves about as smoothly as a bag of rocks over broken glass. A shame. . .a trombone without a good working slide is useless.
