These are the most comfortable hiking shoes I've ever worn. The toe space is fantastic and there is a lot of cushion and support. I will never buy another brand of hiking shoes.

I bought these shoes for a trip to Europe. I did a lot of walking on wet, slippery conditions and these kept me safe and comfortable. They’re not waterproof but kept my feet dry during a rainy day when I had to walk outside. Thyre not heavy and I like the style.

Pros: sole, vibram, comfort, roomy toe box, matched a mason descriptionCon: fit is slightly bigger than same sneakers ordered in the past. Wear thicker socks and tie tight.I have had 3 Altras in the past 2 years (size 9 and the model before this one).All 3 fit perfectly. However, all 3 pairs did not last as long as expected. The mesh on the upper left and right shoes, by toes ,developed holes. Other that that the shoes were still in very good condition.Wear mostly for hikes on rocky surfaces, mountain trails , and flat pebble terrain

I usually love Altras but there was something odd about these. I don’t have a wide foot but the edge of the insole rode just under the outside edge of my foot. Not comfortable at all. Also not a fan of the uber thick sole. Despite this being considered a neutral shoe, what I usually wear, made my knees ache at the end of an 8 hour day on concrete.

Diese Marke ist einfach klasse. Ich trage die Schuhe täglich auf der Arbeit. Dies ist mein zweites Paar von Altra. Auch mein Kollege hat sich ein Paar bestellt und ist begeistert, da er sehr breite Füße hat und seine Schuhe schnell aufscheuern.

Ein toller Schuh mit der Altra-typischen breiten Zehenbox. In der Amazon-Beschreibung steht „Weite: medium“, das stimmt leider nicht, dieser Schuh hat die Passform „footshape original“ und das ist die weite Form (standard ist etwas enger, slim noch enger). Er sieht dadurch und wegen der 33m Sohle („maximale Dämpfung“) etwas klobig aus, ist aber leicht und sehr angenehm zu tragen. Minimal rutsche ich mit der Ferse auch raus. Die Größe fällt bei meinem Paar etwas kleiner aus, wer zwischen 2 Größen schwankt, sollte m.E. die größere nehmen.
