If you've suffered from plantar fasciitis and are wanting a comfortable shoe to begin walking and/or strength training, I cannot recommend this shoe enough. I am so afraid to start running again, so I am taking up walking instead.these shoes are such a great fit and I especially love the sole and how it supports my foot when I strength train. I also appreciate the way they roll to the toe, as my foot specialist says this is good for strengthening my feet. They aren't too cushiony, which I like, so that my foot can do some of the work and get stronger.

Like a lot of reviews on the Altra website, I could barely fit my foot into the shoe - they were way too narrow, even after loosening up the laces.Most people that wear these shoes with large toe boxes also tend to look for wide shoes, so IDK what the deal is here.
