My previous gear nob which is a similar design comes with 3 sizes of plastic adapter as I this one..it failed when the plastic started falling apart. This appears to be similar but screw it in tight and it should be fine. It's half as big again and is in my nissan pathfinder..I am pleased with this xl design.good value and easy to install..screw correct adapter for your gear stalk into nob then tighten on stalk till well in and that's it. looks good too.

I broke the shift knob on my SXS. I used this with an adapter with decent success. It isn't perfect, but it has held up so far and doesn't spin around. It was a cheaper option than the OEM replacement.

I bought this for my 2004 Mazda 3, and it worked great. I still have it on months after purchase, its sturdy and the paint doesn't fall off or degrade. It's also easy to handle and fits snug. Since it's metal, it gets really hot during summers and really cold during winter but it's not terrible. Great buy!

FALSE ADVERTISING - "3 Threaded Adapters M8 M10 M12"The adapters are threaded only on the outside (OD), not the inside (ID). There are no M8, M10, or M12 threads.

the adapters are plastic and lose tightness on the threads VERY EASILY. they cross thread easily and don’t work very well. shifter itself is nice for the price. but adapters are awful.
