Work great and do what they are supposed to do. Cut easily with a Dremel. Are a little hard to snap into mounts but at least you know they are going to stay put. Finishs off the install more professionally than just sticking the LED strips directly to the cabinets like many installers seem to do. I think it helps to diffuse the light too.

I was a bit worried about the quality of the product when I ordered it. the pricing looked too good to be true. I am pleased to say that this was a great product at great price. It came with all the necessary clips, end caps and screws - more than needed. This was a pleasant surprise since we had to cut channels to fit smaller areas and we never ran out of clips, screws and end caps. The plastic cover seems to be well made. It has protective layer on it to avoid scratches...Great product.

The quality of the extruded channel is fine. I am having a problem with the supplied plastic mounting clips. The fit tolerance is VERY tight and it is difficult to insert the channel into the clip. The clips have a counter sunk screw hole to mount the clip to a surface. The supplied screws tend to protrude slightly above the surface of the counter sink which prevents proper insertion of the channel. I have used channel with metal clips from another source, and while still a tight tolerance, I think the metal clips worked better.

These tracks made our LED light strip installation look really good. We mounted them along the edge of our patio roof and it does make the LED dots blend together more. The individual dots are still visible, especially when they are at the dimmest setting. It is a shame these cost so much or we would use more of them. We didn't use the clips either as they made the aluminum stick out from the wood, so we just drilled 2 holes in each and put the screws right through them. We staggered the covers so the cracks did not line up with the ends of the channel which helps keep them in a perfectly straight line.

I installed these for many different customers and all of have loved the way they look. They are easy to install and much cheaper than most others on the market. At $3/foot and add tape light at $2/foot together making only $5/foot that is extremely cheap. Most lighting companies charge $30/foot for the tape light alone without this channel. Yes, they can be tricky to clip into the mounts they send with them but just make sure you install the provided screws all the way in and the mounts are secured tightly. Then put the channel in at an angle on one side the bang in the other side with the palm of your hand. Never have had issues with them falling down or not snapping in properly. Using these look much better than just installing the tape light on the wood. The cover diffuses the LED lights so they are not so bright on a granite countertop. As you can see in the pictures they are good for up lighting as they keep the dust from collecting on the LED electrodes. I have had issues with the adhesive not staying on the wood from the tape light so these were necessary for a good installation. I have purchased many boxes of these and hope they never stop selling them because they are awesome.

I am pretty happy with these. They were easy to use, inserting the plastic cover was a bit tougher than I was hoping but it fit. They were easy to trim using a miter saw to fit to length and the led strips stick nicely to the channel. The diffuser cover works well and eliminates a lot of the spotlight effect.

These strips diffuse absolutely nothing. You literally see the individual dots as clearly as if you had not put the diffuser panel over them. If you lift the diffuser panel approximately an inch away from the light strip, the light is diffused. However the when you insert the diffuser panel into the grooves, you can clearly see every dot as clearly as if nothing was over them. Very disappointed. $30 down the drain. I would return, but obviously, I cut them to size before I set the lights up. Picture 1 shows the light strip with no diffuser. Picture 2 is the diffuser over the light strip. Picture 3 is me hovering the diffuser approximately an inch above the light strip. That is literally the only way to diffuse the light strip. You can go to the dollar store and do that with a roll of wax paper. Don't waste your money on this.

I bought this aluminum channel to hold and improve the look of red LED ribbon that will act as a flashing warning signal when a room overheats. The build is perfect and will suit our needs wonderfully. Along both sides of the channel are grooves so the channel can snap into the included mounting clips. Included are 20 plastic mounting clips that come with countersunk screws and also 20 end caps. Which means you could cut each 1 meter stick in half and have enough clips to mount the channel. My only concern is that the countersunk screws do not fit into the countersunk hole far enough. Less than 1 mm of the screw head protrudes from the countersunk hole, this is just enough to keep the channel from completely snapping in and staying in place. The price seems a little steep to me, but overall it's a good product and I would recommend it to anyone looking for channel to mount LED ribbon. Just have to pick up some smaller headed screws is all.UPDATE: Picked up the same screw type, just the next size down and it fits perfect, I believe it was a #6. I painted the channel black and it disappears into its surroundings.
