It fits well when closed and I trust to be water tight. It does seem to come off easily thought. Not sure if this is the camera itself or a something else.

Lost my stock door, and needed a replacement. This works just fine, clicks into place and seals the door well from water intrusiosn.

Used it in beach for an hour and after that, the door was completely shut and I couldn't open the door anymore. My entire trip was ruined because I couldn't change the batteries inside my gopro because I couldn't open the door anymore.DO NOT BUY if you planning to use this in a salt water setting, you'll end up destroying your go pro just to be able to open it again.

This fits my GoPro Hero 8 perfectly. I got a defective battery door that wouldnt latch shut that came with my hero 8 so i never took it under water. With the new door i was able to get some under water videos. Very happy

I chose wrong the first time I went cheap and found that it was too wide I returned it to Amazon with no questions asked and then chose this more expensive replacement and it was easy to fit and worked the first time with no effort or worry. Thank you Amazon and YALLSAME for an excellent product.
