Routine maintenance on the snow blower for the 2024 snow storm. The carburetor was having a fuel leak issue. Opened it up and replaced the O-ring seal and noticed how thin and frail the intake & exhaust gaskets were. Researching on Briggs & Strattons website for the correct part number and found this set here on Amazon. Perfect fit! Leaving this review here for anyone looking for gaskets for the 1024LD carburetor. 🙂

I personally wasted my money on these. These were inexpensive....but entirely too fragile. Ripped so easy. Shape and sizing were also just a fraction off. I ordered new ones directly from Troy Bilt website for just a few bucks more and the quality difference was immense.

I needed the carburetor to engine gasket but was not quite sure how it was to be installed. The old one appeared to have been installed incorrectly and came off in pieces. This caused engine problems. The provided gasket was cut exactly correct so that it had to be installed only one way. The gasket solved all my problems. The engine started on the first pull and ran properly.
