The brushes arrived in really good condition, each brush individually plastic wrapped to keep the brushes from being bent! There is a good quality plastic container included to travel with your brushes for classes. I am a ceramic artist and teacher, so most of my work is using the brushes for glaze, slip painting and the brushes are great for my work! Easy to clean and hold their shape through repeated glaze coatings.

The brushes are great and good quality for the price. They came in a really nice plastic storage box, however, because they were loose in the storage box, they arrived with bent bristles. I hope to be able to reshape them as it is critical to have the fan shape when painting.Just a thought - this problem could be easily remedied if the manufacturer would tape the brush handles to the inside of the case to prevent them from sliding around during shipment.Other than the above issue, I am pleased with the purchase.

I would have given it ten stars if I could. They would be a bargain at twice the price. They even come in a sturdy plastic container.I've purchased fan brushes that cost more and they weren't as good as these.These were purchased for applying ceramic glaze and they excell at it.

I'm just using these for quickly creating uneven lines of paint to imitate shingle rows, brick grout, etc. However they are well constructed, come in a useful case. I'm used to using quality brushes for interior and exterior house painting and these would qualify on a variety of qualitative scales.

The fan brushes did not hold their shape as son as they were immersed in water. They did not return to the fan shape even after they were dry.......the single fan brush that I tried remained in a spiked-hair shape NOT a full fan as they appeared when in the package......fan brushes are supposed to hold much of the fan shape while being used and completely return to the fan shape when they are cleaned and dry. The "Blending" brush started shredding bristles right after dipping in pigment. NOT GOOD........returned them with a credit from Amazon.

I love these for glazing ceramics! I use Amaco PC and celadon glazes and these are my favorite so far, for brushing on nice thick layers of glaze. A great variety of sizes, though I'm mainly using the larger 4. Might order more in that size!
