You’re able to access advanced unit features including troubleshooting and diagnostics from either the wired/wireless thermostat or using the Amana brand mobile app.
  • Improved design and materials to reduce the operating noise and reduction of exterior and operating sounds from entering the room. A more pleasant and quieter room for you or your guest. Sound Transmission Class (STC 29), making it quieter than previous units. The new design also includes a new modern Quiet White color.

I replaced my 29 year old Carrier PTAC with this Amana 15,000 PTAC I love it. It is fairly quiet and cools my sun-room no matter what the outside temperature is. Also, the thermostat is a very nice feature to have. I wish I had purchased this new PTAC sooner. I received my order in 4 days via RL Carriers. 😎cooling out in Georgia!Cynthi T

The unit is great! I had never installed a ptac unit....but its practically a large window unit. It's literally plug and play! The only frustrating part was the directions for pairing the wireless thermostat. I had to call tech support, and they were extremely helpful...and it was a 2 min fix! I highly reccomend. It would be 5 stars if it wasn't for the slightly confusing instructions, and also the app for your phone can be a little confusing for someone new to this stuff. That could very well be something I need to learn more about

This newer model with separate thermostat works so much better! Keeps our all season room cool in 100 degree weather! Definitely recommend.

Great product, easy install. We did have to swap the cord ends around to fit our pre-existing outlet but afterwards everything ran smooth. Initial setup requires downloading the AMANA app and running via Bluetooth from your phone. Once you complete that step you can run from the thermostat. My unit did ship without Nitrogen/Freon which our heating and cooling guy came out and filled. He also ran a full pressure test, checked for leaks and set the system for optimal operation. Currently using this unit along with another 16,000 BTU unit to cool our Electrical conex which houses all of our equipment in the plant. Our technician got ahold of Amana directly to cover the work he performed and material he used and they covered it no problem. Well worth the money. I haven't had a problem since. Building went from 130° to staying cool at 75°

No thermostat unit came with the unit and my attempts to Rate and contact the company have not been answered. Very easy to install and functional but need the control!
