Product is very sturdy and securely holds the B240 extinguisher. Bracket was mounted on a riding lawnmower so that B240 extinguisher could be carried for late season mowing in a wildland urban interface with high fire potential. The unit is subject to significant lateral and vertical forces as the mower does not have any suspension other than what is afforded by the tires. Have used it for several hours since install and it is performing perfectly. Unit arrived with one of the rubber tabs missing from the tightening strap. I contacted Amerex, and they immediately shipped me a replacement tab. Awesome customer service.

Very robust construction. All steel, nice finish. Perfect for securing my small nitrogen tank in toyhauler.

I actually used the item to mount a canister air dryer to the wall of a dog grooming area. It worked perfectly and was able to hold the 20 pound air dryer with no issues.

I was confused also, when I read that there were2 in a box, I ordered 2 boxes as I needed 4 for our volunteer fire fighters.Super heavy duty and easy to install.Fit both of my tanks without any adjustment.But, why, for the cost of these could they not include the pins to ensure the latches stay shut, they must be what, 50 cents at the most, a small thing, but now I have to go and buy them. Other sellers include them if you read the questions.Overall, very pleased, but will probably buy the next 2 from a different vendor, that sells them for a little less, but includes the pins to keep the latches closed.

I bought this to mount an extinguisher on a John Deere baler for about 1/2 the price of the dealer part. It looks the same and is very good quality.
