The cover is very pretty, but the magnets do nothing to hold it. I used adhesive at the bottom edges to hold it to the box. Hopefully when I want to replace, the adhesive will come off.

this fits a standard mailbox. Mine is oversized. It still looks nice but it does not reach the bottom of the mailbox. I still use it and it stays in place.

My wife opened the package and beamed. She liked it that much. A few minutes later, she was spitting and cussing and calling both me and the manufacturer names that I don't think she learned from her Sunday school teacher. When I asked what was wrong, she sputtered; "This stupid thing is too short in one direction and much too long in the other! Furthermore, the notch for the flag lever is on the wrong side!" I deserve medals for my restraint because I really wanted to roll on the floor laughing. Of course, if I did, I would probably be injured sometime shortly thereafter. With as straight of a face as I could muster, I suggested that she spin it 90 degrees and try it again. I can attest that the mailbox cover fits very well now, is made of good materials and is very attractive. It just looks great, now that it is on correctly.

I ordered this item after being sorely disappointed with two other paper covers that faded out in a month or two. The fabric fits snugly around the box unlike the paper ones where the crease never comes out. The colors are bright and vibrant and I am very pleased. I only gave 4 stars on the durability and sturdiness because time will tell but, for the money, this cover is hard to beat.
