I gave it 5 stars 'cause it is a good quality product, but I made the mistake of not checking the dimensions and it is miniscule! It holds 1 ounce as stated. It is about 2.5 inches tall! My wife and I got a good laugh about it; lesson learned.

When I first received the product, I thought "Oh no, the salt is going to be gushing out like a river from that top." I decided to test it out to see just how bad it would be and found that actually, the perfect amount of salt pours out. There have been no more accidental overuses of salt whenever I make eggs for breakfast that would often happen whenever I would pour directly from the store container. Definitely recommend.

For the price you can't beat these. Thick glass. The tops are plastic but you get what you pay for. I actually bought a couple more of these after the first ones arrived.

I love having overnight guests during the long weekends or holidays because I can serve them breakfast in bed. These tiny salt and pepper shakers are the perfect addition to a beautiful tray! I wish they came with a little funnel to fill but they work marvellously!

I wanted a salt shaker with reasonably large holes, as most of the ones I have owned before clogged very easily. This one is just the job. The only problem is that it is easy to shake out too much salt - but once you get used to it it is easy to take care and use it gently.
