I'm a small female and I had to put all my weight on the handle but I got these old T post and wood posts that were 3 foot in the ground out pretty easy. It took a chain to get the wood posts out but both where easy. The T posts came out easily by using the notch. Works on T and U posts along with chain for wood posts. Best post puller I've ever used and I've used a bunch. I would recommend putting a piece of wood under the puller on soft ground or it sinks too much. The box it came in was a bit mangled but this IS a heavy item and light duty cardboard is a little too flimsy. The is a heavy duty product and should hold up for years, has solid welds and components. Well made.

The post puller is well constructed and worth the money. It made it easy to pull t-post, so easy my 11 year old son was able to pull them out. I just wished it was American made but it is still very high in quality.

It works. Still have a hard time getting some out due to needing extra leverage. Watching videos on YouTube help.

I use this post puller to pull steel t-posts and it works great.

Works like an old school hand powered water pump as the post comes higher out of the ground, simply raise the lever bar, the “grabber†moves down and resets over lower post teeth, push down and the post comes up higher. NOTE: Keep the base plate close to the bottom of the post. Some posts do require some muscle though. If the post is in real tight, simply set grabber higher on post and pull up shorter lengths of post until it’s loose, then lower grabber down further. Our posts are old and rusted but the puller still works great. After pulling up a couple of posts you’ll be an expert and moving on down the line.

Well made, not a post I couldn’t pull so far. Seemingly good quality and metal hardness.

I had several hundred feet of wire chain link fencing to remove. The 5 foot fence had T-posts and they were sunk into the ground pretty deep. This tool made child's play out of removing the T-posts. It was no problem at all. I am a big man and the leverage with my weight was just right for pulling out the posts. If you are on the smaller side or a woman, you can get an open end extension metal pipe to fit over the handle (called a cheater pipe) to lengthen the pull down lever and increase your pulling power. With a long enough extension handle even a child could pull out T-posts. I was amazed at how quickly the tool worked and the posts came out very fast. This tool is designed especially for T-posts, but will pull out circular posts also. Even ones that are set in concrete. All you need for heavy duty work is a strong chain to wrap around the post. The tool has a lifting hook that a chain will attach to. Attach one end of the chain to the hook and wrap around the post in a way that will tighten when pulled. YouTube has some videos on how to wrap chains around posts that are helpful. The only other thing you might need is something strong to set the tool on such as a thick wooden board so that the tool will not sink into the ground if you are lifting something very heavy.
