I compared this element with my old element and it was close, but not exactly the same width. I was afraid to bend it to the same shape (for fear of breaking it), so I installed it the way I received it. That meant I had to bend the two element supports to accommodate the new size element. I tried pulling the wires out with the old element to simplify the installation, but they would NOT come out, because Frigidaire used RIGHT-ANGLE connectors, so I had to pull the range out and remove the back. It was a lot of work, but I saved a lot of money doing it myself.
