These lights are an easy and perfect fit for existing cab lights! They are insanely quick installation, energy efficient and my favorite part is they seal off the existing cab light hole. The color is gorgeous and bright, there are different temp settings and work with a dimmer switch perfectly.

I am not one who likes to take the time to post reviews because I just don't like to. However, I needed to write a review that might help others. These LED recessed light upgrades are amazing. We have 27 year old recessed (can) lights in our house. They are the type with the stretchable springs holding the trim housing and goof ring up to the drywall ceiling. I was lucky that these also had the clip on each side to accommodate the spring wire retainers that come with the new LED replacement. As hard as it may be to believe, it literally took 2 minutes to remove the old light trim and install each of these new LED replacement upgrade lights. Remove the 2 springs (or unhook the spring wires from the clips if you have that style) holding the old light trim assembly up in place as well as the light bulb and set them aside. Screw the new LED replacement harness into the bulb socket. Place a clip retaining spring wire assembly into each side of the new LED light assembly. Connect the LED light harness to the harness connector hanging from the bulb socket. Place each of the spring wires into the wire clips inside the recessed light housing. Then push the light assembly up to contact the drywall ceiling. Done! If your old recessed light housing does not have the two clips inside to slide the new retaining spring wires into you can purchase them on Amazon as well. I installed new compatible dimmers on the lights that I replaced in the kitchen and you can adjust the LED lights from off to very bright. This should meet anyone's needs. I also tried a pair of the new LED lights in our sunroom with just the old single pole switch. They worked with that as well if you don't want to have to install a dimmer. (I would say that using just the single pole light switch that the new LED lights were maybe a little less bright than they are on the dimmer in the kitchen when set at brightest level with the dimmer).

I ordered 2 case of these lights. All worked perfect but 1. The one that did not work was a problem with the clips and not the LED. I used them everywhere so I need another case anyway. They replaced my metal eye lense covers. They had rusted and were no longer timely. The bulbs in them were also bad so replacing with these was actually economical. The ones I have used in the past had choices in color intensity, these do not. I had one complaint that they were too bright. I purchased dimmers to combat this, and I personally think every light switch should have a dimmer. These lights covered the whole perfectly and we very easy to install. Think of the phrase easy as changing a lightbulb. These lights do require the metal tabs on your light cans so I would check that they have them and they are not broken or missing. I do not know if these are sealed, as that is a requirement for in shower use. However, the electrical connection is in the can behind the protected light. As you can tell from my testimony of buying more, I think they are a good product. This was overall a very affordable improvement project.

I really like these. They are super easy to install (retrofit to replace older recessed lighting). You can pick the color temperature by adjusting a built in switch. They have been working well for past 6 months.I took one star away because they don’t seem as bright as other brands I have used in the past.

Before purchasing and installing I asked a guy who was working on my house what’s the price to change out my recess lights he said $250-&300. I went to You Tube to educate myself and completed the entire job under $60 and 40 minutes of labor. I first purchased one kit from the big box HD store for $20 came home did a test install and the molding ring didn’t cover the existing one, I returned it then I found these on Amazon and am I super impressed they install quickly and super easy, the hardest part for me was moving my ladder across the kitchen “ Lol†I only needed 6 it comes 12 in a box therefore I have extras in case one blows since I couldn’t see how to replace the bulbs however that didn’t take away from the beauty and ease of these lights. I absolutely love them and they look great ðŸ‘ðŸ½Highly recommend the lights changed the look of my kitchen completely looks like they were professionally installed. “ They were by me†Ladies don’t be afraid to try and do it yourself!!Thank you

I am an avid user of LED recessed ceiling fixtures, and have purchased about 50 of them of several different designs and from a variety of sellers over the past five years. These are the best I've seen. They are well constructed; they come with long springs that SECURELY and easily snap into place. The product even comes with some extras, in case you misplace a couple. What I found amazing is that you can easily change the light "color" from an orangish "warm white" (suitable for a bedroom) to a bright daylight hue ... perfect for a well-lit foyer or perhaps a garage ... all by simply sliding a switch from one of five positions to another. The seller even provides some extra C-Clips and screws ... just in case your ceiling can doesn't have them built in (my house did have the clips, so I didn't need them). Finally, I can't believe they're a little less than $5.00 a fixture at Amazon! I am absolutely delighted with this product, and I write a review very seldom. Finally, no one induced me to write a review, and I don't ... unless I feel strongly.
