This crystal is about two pounds. The cut is a little strange but I knew it was going to be different when I ordered it. I was a little uneasy spending so much on a crystal and not seeing it in person but was very happy with the purchase. It’s very pretty and a great size.

Beautiful addition to my collection.Even if you don't believe in the spiritual properties of crystals and stones, this particular stone is super cool just for where it comes from - only one place on Earth, at the base of K2 (thus its name), the second highest mountain peak in the world.The weight of the tower I received was juuuust shy of the minimum of the weight I ordered, but that's not the fault of the stone itself.Definitely recommend, for yourself or as a unique gift!

This is, as are all the pieces that I have purchased from this seller, a gorgeous piece of stone, well-carved except as noted. Its loveliness is massively diminished by the fact that this hexagonal column is not cut well on the bottom, and therefore will not stand steadily on its own. So far it has toppled over onto two other (larger) gemstone columns and fortunately since they were positioned just so and heavy enough, this piece did not fall off of the table. So now I have to stick some mini felt pads underneath one edge of its base, and set the piece up against the back of my display area so it can lean against the wall a bit. Not what I had planned for. Will keep this as it is indeed pretty to look at, even if it stands cock-eyed. Disappointed! Had planned to buy another but will look elsewhere.

The sample photo of the item is not a lie. This thing is huge. Well worth the price. The item came wrapped in about 4-5 layers of bubble wrap before being boxed. It probably could have survived a 10ft fall with no problem. Will by from this vendor again.

This is definitely a real Obsidian. Great quality, mine actually had an area of silver sheen which is a major bonus, a surprise!

This was labeled as yellow stone, it is actually Orpiment which should come with a warning to wash your hands after touching because it is an arsenic sulfide mineral. I still have it 4 stars because it’s very pretty, but I may not have purchased it if I had known in advance.

Love this piece. Meant to be held. The K2 stone was beautiful. The picture did not do it justice. So much nicer and colorful I was taken aback. Love it.
