Usage steps
Season chicken
Step 1
Rub the chicken with some olive oil and season the chicken with your favorite spice mixture or herb mixture
Pour beer
Step 2
Open a can of your favorite beer, drink half of it and pour the rest into the closable canister
Chicken is placed in an oven or grill
Step 3
Hold the chicken by the wings and lower it onto the roaster so that the container reaches the body cavity. Pull the legs forward to keep the chicken upright
Open roasting
Step 4
Grill with indirect heat or smoke 1 to 1.5 hours. For best results, use an immediately readable thermometer after 1-hour to check the degree of cooking

This worked but it was quite a bit smaller than I was thinking. I like to but larger chickens and this was ok but I feel is better to use with smaller whole chickens. Not bad just wish it was bigger

I like grilling beer can chicken, but I often don't have a soda or beer can to get started. This does the trick and even better, it ensures the steam is evenly distributed inside of the cavity. I especially like using this with my "Char-Broil Big Easy Oil-less Liquid Propane Turkey Fryer" so that the turkey or chicken cooks evenly on all sides.

it is ok as it can be made to work. However the diffuser part does Not in the cup securely. Very easy to spill beer when putting in the bird and grill.

Can’t speak to the durability but it beats trying to make a chicken stand up when it’s on a grill with a can up it’s a$$. The tray catches the drippings and steams them back up into the cavity adding to the flawless finish of any drunk chicken.

So simple to assemble and prep. It infuses flavors well, adds moisture and speeds up the cooking time because you are actually cooking from the inside and out. The perforated cap distributes the heat and moisture so much more evenly than a can will. I have been using a turkey cannon for years and finally found something comparable for chicken. I highly recommend!

I had my reservations about this product when I saw it on Amazon and again when I opened the package, but so far I have no real issues.I love that it came with its own "can" I don't drink from cans and I didn't want to go buy a can every time I want to make chicken. So this is very convenient!This unit is so much taller than the other beer can chicken devices I've had, so I was concerned that it wouldn't fit the chicken and also, wouldn't fit into my oven!It almost didn't fit into the oven. I had to remove one rack, then I lowered the other rack ro the bottom rung. The chicken was an inch away from the broiler!! It cooked fine though and didn't burn.I think it's a good product, but could benefit from some improvements.1) Lower the overall height by an inch or more, I really don't know that it's all that necessary.2) the base of the unit could be an inch wider. I had a whole roaster and the bird was larger than the base of the unit. That, combined with the tall height, I was worried it was going to topple over putting it into and out of the stove.
