I needed something to secure my iPhone while I ran but also offer some kind of protection from sweat/water. The traditional arm bands just didn't cut it as the cases would soak up the sweat and then make contact with my phone. While I doubt this case is any more "waterproof" than many others the primarily benefit it offers is the ability to be held securely in your hand (which hopefully has less sweat than your arms).1) The iPhone fits snuggly in the case even without removing my Ringke Fusion case. With the case it is a very snug fit but I could easily remove my case and the phone would fit perfectly within the HandPod.2) The hand strap is comfortable but really also allows me to have the phone in my hand without having to worry about dropping it. I don't even have to grip the phone if I chose not to.3) The plastic screen allows me to still use the touchscreen on the phone.4) There are two pockets (one inside behind the phone & one outside where the hand strap attaches to the case) for an ID/credit card & car/house key.Overall, I'm very happy with this purchase & would definitely recommend it for anyone looking for a case to run with but that doesn't become a sponge of sweat & damaging your iPhone.

Easy to hold during a run. All my media has migrated to my phone, and this let's me listen to music or books while I run. Arm band type holders always fall down to my elbow when I run, or are really tight (or both). This is just so much easier and is really comfy too! I can also relax my grip somewhat while running with it too... which you cannot do if you just hold the phone by itself. Good touch response through the plastic cover, and it is designed that you wont accidentally touch the screen while running (you hold the sides through the back).

I love this iphone holder. It is way more comfortable, and easier to use than I had dared to hope. I highly recommend it for runners who need to find the right song, and otherwise multitask while running.

The amphipod running handpod is a great holder for you iphone. It is adjustable, very comfortable, and has room for a key, credit cards, and money. You can purchase it for about $30. Do not buy it from the person who is currently trying to sell it for $100 (4/9/13).
