Your cart is empty.The well-x-trol WX-202 pressure tank floor stand WX-202 is specifically designed for residences. It requires only a minimum of floor space and has an appliance-like blue finish allowing installation anywhere. Exclusive butyl diaphragm along with the 100% corrosion resistant virgin polypropylene liner are secured by a positive hoop ring seal for added strength and reliability. This totally integrated system outperforms other Types of water chamber designs. The stainless steel air valve is welded rather than threaded to prevent loss of air pressure. The finest quality custom mill steel is used in the deep drawn dome for extra strength while keeping tank WEIGHT to a minimum. Note: all tanks are pre-pressurized at 38 psi and should always be set 2 psi below the cut in of your pressure switch. It is recommended to check tank pressure before installation. Pressure switch settings should not exceed a 20 psi differential between cut in and cut out.

Good quality, no leaks, pre-charged. Replaced an older model of the exact same type that had been in my house for at least 15 years. Hopefully this one lasts just as long or longer. Actually, the copper tee was what failed on my old one, the pressure tank was still probably good, only replaced my old one as a precaution.

Hopefully this new one will last another 30 or so years! My old one worked beautifully, and honestly lasted much longer than it should have, in my wet basement. Everything else has rusted out, but this guy just kept on chugging along.I got exactly the same make & model as my last one. Super pleased that they're still making them, but not surprised at all. The price I paid was excellent. $315 was the lowest price I could find for this tank, and I paid $5 for expedited shipping, which seems ridiculously low.

Easy replacement for old failed elbe tank of the same dimensions. Just be sure to set the pressure to 2 PSI below the turn on pressure of your well pump switch when all the water is out of the pressure tank. It's helpful to know (but not necessary) this pressure before you start so you can adjust the tank pressure to the correct value before using it for the first time.

This tank came very well packaged. It was a like for like swap for our 12 year old pressure tank. All the fittings matched up. The only reason I am giving it a 4 star and not a 5 star review is because according to the instructions the pressure tank should have been pre charged at just under 40 psi. After having issues with my pressure switch not closing and having no water we determined the tank pressure was sitting at about 47 psi which was higher than they advertised. It was an easy fix just by letting some air out of the tank. If you are at all handy you can swap pressure tanks with minimal to no plumbing. All you need is some Teflon tape and pipe wrenches.
