Size: fits kitchen garbage can. I use it to hold the bag in place. Heavy duty. Get 50 for a good price. I use to keep boxes close too.

I use these when holding down disposable tablecloths. These are big enough to stretch around picnic tables holding tablecloths on each end. They do break down after a couple of years of use (church picnics, etc) but easy enough to buy again. Also like these for same purpose, but hold cloth table cloths when we go camping. Sometimes the picnic tables are…. Gross. These are a great fix.

I do shoe repairs for homeless people and, after I've glued their shoe back together (usually the sole detatches from the upper) I use one of these wrapped around the shoe twice to secure it long enough for the glue to work. These are absolutely perfect for the job.

I just got these and have used a couple of them to hold together stacks of related CD and DVD disk holders. To do this, you have to stretch the rubber bands double over the disk holders, if the stack of holders is small. This is because the rubber bands are long and doubling them over gives the proper tension or stretch. The rubber bands look and feel pretty durable. They will stretch out quite a bit without breaking.

I use them to keep all my boxes of board games closed when they are standing on edge.Time will tell if the rubber material will last.
