I tied 100 pound mono to the swivel that was mounted in a vise as seen above. Tied a cinch knot and then a double Trilene. Pulled on the line until it broke both times. The swivel shown in my hand shows no deformation. I am confident of using these reasonable priced swivels for deep drop red snapper rigs, using knots as shown instead of crimps, which I have seen over pinch the line and fail. Update: Just returned from a red snapper fishing trip and these swivels did not fail on dozens of big snappers.

Size 10 are very tiny but seem sturdy. Rated at 35lbs, good enough for any fresh water fishing with lighter tackle. I may buy size 5 or 6 just for heavier tackle.

Great T swivels. Exactly what I was expecting.Just a suggestion, the packaging is to big for what is in it. Something smaller would be more cost effective and better for the environment.
