  • This AMZZ violin bow requires rosin for optimal results. Mongolian horsehair produces a rich tone when coated with rosin. Although sometimes the horsehair may pause, the high quality horsehair ensures durability and consistent tone.

  • Suitable for both beginners and professionals, our bows offer excellent balance, durability, and performance, making them a versatile choice for players of all skill levels.

  • Proper Storage & Tension:Loosen the bow when not in use to avoid damaging the stick. Store it in the bow holder to protect it from impacts. Ensure the bow has a slight curve with a pencil-width gap between the hair and stick. Don’t overtighten.

Showed up tight in an over sized box that was damaged. When you loosen the bow it just frays to hell. When you tighten it only half the hairs are tight. I should have trusted the bad reviews...Update:New bow showed up today on the 22nd and it was a good looking bow and when tightened all the hairs were inline.

Wrote a previous review, but it hasn't been added yet, so I can't edit it. This second review will have to do.First bow arrived bent. Sighting down the bow (4/4) from the frog, the last 4-5 inches at the tip took a left turn that had the tip off center .75"-1". Returned for refund.Second bow arrived and it had the same problem....except worse. This second bow started being warped about one third of the distance from the frog...and this warp was combo, a slight warp to the right, then another left turn that put the tip at least 1" out. Both bows were examined loose and tightened, and no, I did not over-tighten the bow. Decades ago I played cello in school, so this ain't my first rodeo. There seems to be zero quality control and when a product is this defective and the listing says the product is "suitable for professional use", well, something somewhere is..........sub-optimal. Second return only allowed for refund, so I'm trying a 1/2 from another seller. Going for a smaller one because I will be using it on electric guitar a la Jimmy Page. Both seemed to be taking a heck of a lot of rosin, but that could just be my memory of how to do things.Best part of the product was the shipping. Rocket fast, but like others have said, it comes as a bow-in-a-box. No packing materiel, just a 6" x 6" x36" box with the bow loose inside.Give it a shot if you're feeling lucky, but even though I was willing to let the seller go for 3 strikes, the seller only allowed 2 strikes, so,,,,,they're out on 2 strikes. Not at all recommended.

I’ve had this item for less than 6 months and it’s already fraying. I have only used it 5 times…

I would highly recommend this beginner bow. I like that the bow arrived with the hair loosened. I’ve ordered several bows for my strings classes and have been quite surprised at how many bows arrive tightened. This one looks and works great. I’ve ordered at least seven other bows on Amazon and this is the best one so far. Hopefully quality is controlled from bow to bow.

A good value fiddle bow. Bought as a spare, to replace one no longer usable. Having now used it regularly, I'm pleased with how it handles. Ratchet is a little tight but has become less so with use. Probably not of real professional or orchestral quality, compared with what can be spent, but certainly fine for the kind of down-home fiddlin' it's being used for by me.

This is a nice bow for a beginner at a very reasonable price, but it needs a lot of rosin applied before it is used. More expensive bows come "pre-rosined". With this one, you need to get some powdered rosin worked into the horsehair before using it.
