The pin isn't a high quality, it's a cheaply made pin but it looks nice and adds character and style. The back of both the design and the crystal are both a push pin style which isn't my preference but works fine. The chains are fairly weak and will probably break if the catch even slightly on things but add for a nice touch. The detail is better than some other pins I've gotten from the same company.They come packaged in box that's cute and makes it more giftable but the boxes (I've ordered several pins from this company) are not always well constructed. When they are it looks a little classier and when their not it looks cheap. Inside the box the pin is packed in a small plastic zipper bag. That comes across cheap to me when jewelry arrives in a plastic bag.The packaging does not keep the pin from sliding in the box unfortunately which means that pins like these with chains can become tangled but it was not difficult to untangle.

It was a little smaller than I expected, and the chain didn't quite go from the lapel to the pocket, however.. the jewel is very nice. It was the colors matching my wine jacket, and everybody couldn't stop commenting that night about it. If this is the color you're looking for, then I definitely recommend getting it. I just made it hang down by lapel and it still worked.

This is so great. It really is a beautiful piece. I like having that something extra to add to my suits/wardrobe. Great for special occasions, dates, work, weddings, etc! I really like all the neat things KINGPiiN makes because of the quality and design. They really know how to treat guys like kings!

KingPiin is a great option for affordable jewelry. They are for men... or anyone else who wants to wear them, I wear them all the time! This one is beautiful and really looks nice and I have never had any problems with any of KingPiin items in my collection. These KINGPiiN lapel pins and brooches are a very mixed bag. Some are cute and quite funny; some are pins that an adult could wear at work, and attract comments and compliments. Some would make good backpack or hat ornaments. And some just don’t quite work, for a variety of different reasons.I can identify some sound predictors: in general, the pins that are most figural are most successful. Thus the little sailboat/s (there are several different options) work, and so does the little hammer and the eyeglasses frame. And in general, the ones that are stamped don’t work so well. The stamping is not artfully done, and it is hard to tell what they are supposed to be. Also, in general, the painted or silver pins are the best. And the ones with black chains are the least successful.I like this pin well enough. The blood red of the crystal is eye-catching. I should note, though, that this isn’t a well-made piece. The Stone was not set straight. I pried it off and re-set it, but the pin is flimsy enough that probably isn’t something people should count on being able to do. I also separated the two pins and tossed the chain. It looks better without the chain, to be sure.

This pin came shipped in a cute box that would be great for gift wrapping.The pin itself is a faux tarnished gunmetal color and the chains are a darker black color. It is very textured and nice looking. The red crystals pop on the darker colored pin. The chains tend to get twisted, but I expected that to happen. It takes a couple minutes to straighten out the links once you have the pin attached to your lapel.It is costume jewelry, so skin oils will eventually discolor it. It is a pin, so it shouldn't have too much contact with the skin and discoloration shouldn't be an issue for much longer than if it were a ring or bracelet.The price point feels high for this. It is nice, but it is not $13 nice.
