I use these to put up curtain rods, towel bars, toilet paper hangers, pictures, closet shelving - anything going into sheet-rock. The things come with plastic anchors, I throw those away and use these. I have used them in Florida and new england (different construction methods). They go in easily and they hold tight. I use the either vertically or horizontally, depending on the application. Sometimes I drill small pilot hole but it is generally not required. They leave an easily patchable slit if you have to remove them for any reason. Not good porcelain tile. That is about the only time I use the old plastic ones.

These are the best anchors I ever used! Very little damage on the wall and they do the job. I will never return to those horrible blue plastic anchors!

I first found these at my local home town hardware store when I owned my own cottage decor shop. Being on my own, all you need is a hammer and a screw driver and then you are able to hang anything perfectly. No drywall falling out everywhere, no huge hole, done in a minute or two. Perfect product. The hardware store has since closed, they retired, so I found them here on Amazon. I use them at home now. Love them.

I bought these before at a mom and pop hardware store and loved them then low and behold the hardware store closed after 60 years. I searched all the big box stores and no one had them and then looked on amazon and wow they had them. Easy to use, no special tools besides a hammer and if perhaps you make a mistake and pull it out, you have a tiny slit to fill. They are great and hold a lot of weight.

This anchor worked well in my RV walls. They are thin panels. I did drill a small starter hole, but I don't know if that was needed. Seems they are as strong as the wimpy walls.

I specifically looked all over for these after a guy at work gave me some. I use them for all sorts of applications and they are just great. Very easy to employ and very sturdy, with minimal impact to the wall.

Easy to use -- hammer in, then screw in the screw ... i use these for drapery rods ... they are snug and tight on the wall which allows the hardware to fit snug to wall as well.

These work great. Be sure that you are on a location where there is nothing behind the drywall (dont locate this at the stud).
