IDENTIFYING REAL WOOL
It has a light sheepskin smell from being packed in sealed bags. Burning a bit smells like burnt hair and turns to powder when pinched. It’s real wool!
IDENTIFYING FAKE WOOL
Usually made of acrylic fibers, it burns easily and leaves hard lumps. The ‘skin’ is actually layers of material stuck together. It’s faux fur!

It is extremely soft! Whenever I first got it, there was some dust like particles on it, but they went away after the first day. It was fairly easy to get on and it hasn't slipped since. It's has helped my hands not get burned in the blazing Texas heat and kept them from freezing in these winter months. I love the color and is exactly what I wanted! It is definitely not real wool though, in case that's a major deal for others. For reference, this fits on my 2020 Honda Pilot steering wheel (it's 15 inches), which has been surprisingly hard to find a steering wheel cover that fits.

It came sealed! It feels very soft, and it had mild shedding in the beginning which was expected but after it’s great. I love it! It’s a snug fit, I was worry about it slipping but it’s very slip resistant for me. Glad I went with this one!

Feels soft. It’s easy to put on/take off of the steering wheel. Perfect for really cold weather.

Soft and thick. I see getting many years of use! I have Australian sheepskin seat covers that don’t fit my new car so I just ordered some new seat covers to go with the wheel cover. I like that it’s not black but not a slate grey.

I have used sheepskin covers for my vehicles since the 80's (I live in the desert, there is NO better protection from a burning hot steering wheel- or from a cold one in winter).This one caused me disappointment.It is a plush, nice-feeling sheepskin leather cover with wool still attached; for my Saturn wagon with 14" steering wheel, this cover should have been easy to install- NO WAY would it fit on a 15" wheel! I couldn't get this on by myself & had to have my hubby do it. He said it's so tight, if it gets slightly twisted while turning the wheel, it'll sling right off like a rubber band. Also, having the elastic so tight, the desert heat (112° today, you can add about 50° more for car's closed interior) will dry out & ruin the elastic.Sorry to say, but I won't buy this brand again; of the many I've used in the past (more than one each, in a Dodge Dart, Chevy Vega, Chrysler, Lincoln Town Car, Chevy van, Hyundai Elantra, Saturn & now Mountaineer!) I never had one too small to fit the wheel of a small car.

She loves this!!! Her steering wheel was ice cold because like me she doesn’t have a heated steering wheel. This is PERFECT and she has black and teal seat covers as teal is her FAVE colour. She too loves the soft genuine sheepskin which is easy to grip-safer than slippery mittens and warmer than grippy leather gloves. It was a zip to install and it’s nice and snug yet doesn’t interfere with the view of her dash. We priced these at the auto store and they were TWICE the price so we got a slamming deal so we both HAD to get them!!! Great value! Love it!

Like the colour matches our vehicle, it is very comfortable to touch, since we don't have heated steering wheel, this makes it bearable in the winter. Hopefully it will be easily kept clean with sanitiser or I can use steam to get a good clean on it. I will update my emreview if anything changes.

My steering wheel is 15.5-16â€. It was a very tight fit but I got it on. It’s soft and feels nice on the hands but it definitely sheds. I got most of it out with a lint roller but keep seeing hairs coming out. Otherwise it’s good quality

Fits on an f-150. Bit of a struggle getting it on there at first but once you get it, it stays well and is very soft.
