12 gauge wire is short and easily supports 40 amps with no voltage loss so no need for 10 gauge. The wire is flexible and this power pole connector is not too long. I purchased a 10 gauge and the wire was too stiff and the entire connector was much larger.

I use this as a splitter coming off my battery, Connect my transceiver and computer and have an open spot for anything else that might need power. Works well and the Anderson power poles seem to be crimped solid. The 12 AWG stranded wire will carry the load well,

I needed to add a connection to the main line to the back of my car for a small handheld I use for APRS. (N8JYF-9) The wire is good quality and looks to be 12ga. Hopefully it holds together well and lasts for years. I will update after a few months etc.

Nice and solid and professional looking. Nice covers over the PowerPole pairs protect them and reduce strain where the wires go into the connectors. Using it to put two solar panels in parallel, to the charge controller.

I am an Amateur Radio operator (Al9G) and recently upgraded my portable radio setup. I needed a splitter that I could use to split power from my Bioenno 15aH battery to both my radio and Mag Loop Antenna tuner motor. My radio is a 100W radio so I wanted a connector that was beefy enough to handle the power moving through it. This splitter is perfect as it has 12 gauge wire and is a perfect length to reach my connections. So far this splitter is working Wonderfully and the only thing I added were ferrite beads to keep RF leakage down.I highly recommend this item to Amateur Radio operators and any others who need a solution to split power while using the Anderson Power Pole Connectors!

Left side of the photo are the fake/compatible Anderson PowerPole connectors of this cable, Right side are the original one. One can see that the original contacts are wider. The measured end-to-end resistance of the 12AWG wire including the two fake Anderson connectors is 2.49/2.55 red and 2.55/2.70 milliohms black. I would expect 2.9 milliohms. So this resistance is ok.Between the Y-legs the cable is longer. This resistance is measured at 3.25 and 2.81 milliohms. That difference is strange.
