I had Andrea Rosin which needed replacing after a year of use with no problems. I ordered this "Andrea" rosin, but it came with a sticker saying that it had been re-branded CECILIA rosin and the case it came in says CECILIA. It does not work the same way. It cakes on the strings and causes the bow to slide on it and produce no grip resulting in little/poor sound. I've been using it for about a month now, and plan to replace it with something else.

This is a good rosin but not for the money. I was so looking forward to this but it fell short of all the hype for me. Melos dark is way cheaper and worked better on my cheaper strings. For this brand I love the signature. The sound with it is so much better and worth the money for me a little bit goes a long way.

Wasn't the product as advertised. Cecilia does not make Andrea products but I am not waiting for the right product to show up so I am going to stick with this and see if it performs for the most part.

This is five-star cello rosin, but it's twice as expensive as it ought to be. I think I'm going back to the Jade brand.
