Replaced Motorola MA-1. This product DID NOT REQUIRE plugging and unplugging of the wired connection in the car. It was just PLUGIN, PAIR & AUTOMATIC, STABLE AND RELIABLE ANDROID AUTO CONNECTIONS!!! Works incredibly well. I wish I had found this product sooner as the Motorola MA-1 is a PAIN to configure and use. This is the wireless adapter you want!!!

Works like a charm, as promised. Easy one click pairing. Automatically connects when your phone is in the car and the car is started. All aspects of your phone are usable, calling, contacts, maps, etc. I highly recommend this item and will always have one for this car.

Truly plug and play. I am so happy to find a wireless Android Auto system that is uncomplicated and works as expected. All one has to do is activate Bluetooth on your phone and the Wifi pairs automatically. No password needed. 😀

It did work for a week. It was easy to set up despite the included comical instructions with misspelled words. There is no app and none was needed. After a week, my car - 2023 Honda Accord EX reported a faulty device plugged into USB.

Seems to work pretty well when it's working. It loses the connection and must be unpaired and then repaired fairly frequently.

I went on a road trip with my family and wanted to listen to music and answer calls in the car. This adapter fully met my needs. Its installation process is very simple.When I use navigation while driving, I can directly answer calls or listen to instructions through it, avoiding distractions and greatly improving safety. This is my best choice for car upgrades, and I highly recommend it to friends who need seamless connection!The wireless connection works really well, I've only spent a little time testing it but so far it has not disconnected and the connection speed is very fast. No lag. Worth buying.

I have been so frustrated with my car not using wireless Android Auto (Apple yes) and had no idea these dongles existed. I searched for a fix and low and behold these have existed for a little while. I immediately compared several brands and their reviews and chose this one. I have no regrets. This was delivered pronto and I installed it following the directions (simple) and voila! Wireless Android Auto!!!!! I love it. It works flawlessly everytime. I get in my car and it immediately connects to me phone and starts playing whatever I was listening to and brings up Google Maps with optional destinations. The only minor "flaw" is the device keeps running in my car for 5 minutes or so (my cars issue) so it connects and disconnects from my phone as I move in and out of range inside my house. Hasn't caused me any problems. I do recommend you forget your car from your BT list prior to installing the dongle. Very happy!

I've been using this adapter for almost a year and it worked flawlessly. It never disconnects unlike my wired connection. The phone gets a hotter during use which makes sense as it's always sending a signal to the device. Just over a month ago, it stopped working, it would try to connect and it would disconnect right away. I had tried everything and never got it to work again. I tried it again after a month to see if I was able to connect it and it was doing the same thing.Prime day was coming soon and I was going to order another one as I really loved it but decided to ask the seller about it and explained what was happening. Android Auto worked well when plugged in to the car but using the wireless adapter it didn't. The seller responded in less than 24 hours with a fix.All I had to do was clear the cache for Android Auto and for Google Play Services. Unpair the Bluetooth connection and restart the phone. Worked right away when I reconnected it to the car.Great product and great service

I've always wanted to free my android phone off its USB tether to use android auto. This little device fits the bill, and has worked so far as expected in the week I received it. There are things to note, which I have learned and noted, for continued success and predictability:-Android auto originally works with two data streams simultaneously: bluetooth for calls and music, and wired USB for all else (including but not limited to data from map apps). This device merely attempts to replicate the wired USB function via a private wifi link to "trick" car into believing the phone is plugged into the USB. Phone is initially paired with this device via bluetooth, so that it can "convince" the car this device IS the phone, after which this bluetooth connection is automatically dropped and phone connects directly to car bluetooth.-The best user scenario should be, prior to starting car, NO OTHER bluetooth device is paired on phone (deliberately disconnect headsets etc).-Phone wifi should be ON before starting car, so it connects automatically to this device wifi.-Even if the above is met, there can be a delay of 10sec in the worst case; in my experience phone was duly connected within 5secs of starting car.-If multiple phones will be in car, both wifi and bluetooth of all other phones should OFF prior to entering car, except that phone intended to connect with car android auto via this device.-Setting up device with more than one phone is possible; only the intended phone for the trip should be in car and its wifi and bluetooth ON, before starting car (or all wifi and bluetooth on other phones OFF).-After phone has duly connected via this device to car android auto, other phone wifi and bluteooth in car may be turned ON.-This device corrals the intended phone in a private router-device wifi link, and should connect automatically when car is started. If, for some reason wifi does not automatically connect and/or demands a password, stop and shutdown car, reboot phone, and phone should automatically connect when car is next started. This happened only once, so I'm not sure what caused it.

Plugged in the usbc to the usbc to usba adapter, then plugged into my F150 Usb outlet. Connected my phone to the unit and viola, up and running android auto. Worked amazingly fast with no issues. Made calls and played music, used maps, all no issue, no lag and no concerns. Turned off vehicle and got out. Went back in and started truck. Once display gets to main page, it took 15 seconds and then android auto in full function was on my screen. Thats approx 15 seconds from startup. Great little box. Lets hope it lasts.

Such an easy install and set up (just link phone to Bluetooth). Works perfectly, now I don't even take my phone out of my pocket.. just get in the car and drive!
