There is no hold function for peak wind speed; if you aren't watching it when it peaks you won't know.

Tried to use this in side a freezer while doing some industrial work. Didn't drop it, no power issues, but wouldn't read below 40* F, even though the freezer thermometer read -2. When it did work, it would almost 10 minutes to settle on a rough temp. As someone who needs to be able to check the temp difference room to room this thing isn't up to the task.

We do go up poles on hoists and this does help us out, very basic to use, can't go wrong. Well built, good quality, I'm pleased with the purchase.

Utilisé pour faire des mesures de débit sur des bouches de ventilation. Très bien fait le job.Attention il faudra faire quelques manip de formules pour transformer des m/s en m3/h.

The backlight will only stay lit for 5 seconds. I wish it would stay on longer or have the option to turn it on/off when needed. Can’t see the screen in darker rooms or at an angle without the backlight on. Price was right though.
