We used this as part of a penguin costume for Halloween. Super cute and soft. Fit my 6 year old. Machine washed really well!

Was this for 'Boys' ?Too big for even my head. It's not super soft and furry warm. It's fun/cute, but for functionality, I don't recommend. It's not nearly cozy warm enough for my kid to want to wear. His sister has a squishmallow hat and he wanted something similar - this was the only penguin we found. But the quality isn't even close.

Purchased for my 4 year old daughter. She's a taller girl, wears size 6 in clothing, medium size head. This hat fits a little big, but it works because the ear flaps are adjustable under her chin. I had the choice between this hat and another with the long scarf flaps. She does have that design already, unicorn hat with long scarf attached and although very cute and soft she doesn't prefer to wear it because of the bulkiness. This design with the short flaps covers her neck similar to a gaiter. Its her go-to hat. She tells me it keeps her head warm so that's good!

I was really excited to get this item last minute for a polar plunge. Description says fits kids and adults. I have a small adult head and typically can wear kids hats. The item that arrived was great quality, low price and product tag said Gymboree size 2T. There is no way it’s fitting older kids or any adult. Very disappointed as I have no time to find something else.
