I’m glad I purchased this online thru amazon, In store prices were $50. I was using the limited guard combs that came with my cordless wahl, but over a couple of months, with wear and tear, my guard combs started falling off on their own, that’s when I found out that there was indeed steel guard combs. Highly recommend!

I have used these for over two years on my labradoodle. Only ordering because the plastic on the red one broke when I dropped it. Unfortunately could not find a way to order just a replacement.

I purchased this because I didn't want to buy the Wahl OEM version. I have a Wahl Arco cordless pet trimmer (it uses a 5 in 1 blade) and these guide combs just slide over the blade. They are held on by friction, but don't worry they don't slide off when you're using them. Yes, they work just as well as the OEM version, but they cost much less. Do I recommend this product? Yes, I do.

They work but are a little more loose fitting than the wahl brand. The length seems to be spot on but the plastic is thinner and not as tight fitting. Good purchase if you’re on a budget
