My daughter loves this and for a first board I wasn't expecting much. However, it is durable enough for a beginner and the art work was clear and bright, a great board for the price.

I fell in love with this board the moment I laid my eyes upon it. And honestly, this is so much better than I could have ever imagined.First, the board is very sturdy, the grip tape is nice and grippy despite the design being painted on (Rip to those paint brushes. Their sacrifice was not in vain), the deck art is also fantastic! Photos do NOT do this baby justice. Everything is so much more vibrant.The trucks turn very well outside of the box, and as a longboarder, I'm used to looser trucks, so this is very nice. Also, I was pleasantly surprised that my board came with large soft wheels instead of the classic small and hard ones. The board also is great for a grown woman with huge feet, size is great.If you're familiar with tricks, you are going to want to replace the bearings after you break your board in. They are not the best for experienced people, however the whole build is perfect for beginners out of box. Only thing I would suggest, loosen the nuts on the wheels just a bit that way you don't have to push so much. There should be ZERO up and down wiggle but can still spin a while. Mine would not spin out of box. (Not gonna dock a star though. That's prolly a manufacturing precaution)Overall, if you have your eyes on this board, newbie or not, get it. You won't be disappointed given the price tag!!!!

Right now until I change the bearings and wheels on this skateboard it’s more of a hazard than anything. You have to put way more energy to get a little speed and because the bearings suck you can’t keep that momentum going for very long at all. All I like is the deck so far will have to see if the trucks are going to come loose after I tighten them but I kinda should have known for the price of the whole thing what I would be getting
