It's a very stiff fabric, and as mentioned, it is not the white of a piece of paper, it's a very very pale grey. It looks a bit darker than it is, due to the cellophane it's wrapped in (very well wrapped), but even on removal from the cellophane, compared to a sheet of paper, it's definitely a grey.

This was priced really cheap, and I should have been skeptical about the quality.It's an enormous piece of very stiff, bluish-gray aida. Mine is besmirched with a huge selvedge edge along the entire longer side of the fabric.Utterly disappointing. I'll be returning, because this is NOT as described.

First off this came pretty quickly and it was packaged pretty good, but I was looking for 25 count WHITE fabric and this popped up on my google feed and thought WOW what a great deal. I didn't realize till just now that this isn't 25 count its 11 count and I have no idea what I can use it for but I'll find some pattern. The second thing is this is supposed to be WHITE and it's not. To me it's either a very pale grey or it has a blueish tint to it, so they definately need to rename their colors, but white should be WHITE

Definitely not what I was expecting. The only positive things I can say are that the piece is huge and it was very reasonably priced for the size. Positives end there! Cons: 1) this is so incredibly stiff!! As you can see in the photo, it stands up on its own. I stitch in hand (instead of hooping the fabric), but there’s no way with this. Way too stiff. 2) there is a horrible chemical smell in the fabric. I tried ironing a portion and it made my whole craft room stink for days. It’s truly awful. 3) this fabric is not white! In the second photo, I’ve compared to Aurifil #2600 (Dove Grey) and Aurifil #2024 (White), and DMC floss in “blancoâ€. As you can see, it’s almost the exact shade as the Dove Grey.This one is going back!
