This is an aqueous base product, not solvent based. It DOES NOT SMELL. Ignore the stink stories. It goes on like water. I applied 2 coats to 23 sq ft of onyx shower base using 1 and 1/3 of the two small bottles. 6 hours between coats. The little roller works better than expected as it goes on quick. Gave it 40 hours of cross ventilation to dry. My wife considered the “grip†surface molded into the original 1 year old base to be a death trap. After her first shower today she raved about the grip provided by the coating. My turn tonight. Now we have yet to get hair shampoo and conditioner on the base and longevity is TBD. But so far so good!!Update: I found that the shower base is much safer and the “grip†is greatly improved. Let’s see if it lasts 6 months.

Bought this because tub is old and very slick . Tried different adhesive products and none last . This has good reviews and said works in 12-24 hours . I followed instructions. Cleaned , dried , sanded with 220 grit , even wiped down with 91% alcohol and let dry with a fan blowing on it. Applied with 2.coats 20 minutes apart ..Let dry for approximately 14 hours . In less than a week with 2 adults showering once daily slick spots started appearing . Within another day or two , only spots with any product left were close to drain , very rear of tub and some along sides . Maybe it works for children or very light people. idk. A big waste of 40.00 in my opinion.

Our shower had the safety tape (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B003FO2I1W/) for the past 5 years. This stuff worked great and never came loose but unfortunately dirt and grime built up on the edges and I decided to try the rollon antislip method. I removed the tape using GooGone then washed the floor twice with Dawn dish soap. Dried thoroughly and then rewetted with 70% isopropyl alcohol drying with paper towels. I then used the recommended 220 Grit sandpaper to lightly scuff the floor. I dumped the first bottle out on the 3’ x 6’ floor and applied the first coast using the included roller. Best way to do it was with no pressure just lightly push the roller around. Waited 20 minutes and applied half of the second bottle. I then let it dry for 44 hours.The results are great. The floor looks brand new and has excellent grip without being gritty at all. I’ll update this post in a few months but I have high hopes and very happy so far.Update December 2023: Regularly clean the floor with vinegar/water. Still looks great and 100% effective. No reduction in traction.Update June 2024: Still going strong. I just bought more to do our other shower. Pricey but effective.Update October 2024: Starting to wear off and getting dirty in spots. Used same procedure to remove and reapply. However don't want to be doing this after couple years. Taking off 1 star and will not be doing this again. Back to the stickers in a couple of year probably. Just too expensive for only 2 years.

I’m so happy and thankful I found this product. We’ve been in our new house for a year and a half and I’ve been scared to death that I was going to slip in the shower. It’s a tiled shower but the shower floor is fiberglass and it was extremely slippery. We had checked into replacing it with tile but according to our contractor it would be creating another problem so he said. I had tried every mat but none would stick to the floor because of the texture. Once the shower floor got wet it was like ice! I recently had TKR and was even more frightened of falling. I came to trusty Amazon and found exactly what I needed. It was very easy to apply and that’s a plus since I’m female and 75. The first time I took a shower after it was applied I was so happy. It was very reasonably priced and so far I’ve been very pleased. Don’t know how it will hold up in the long run but we’ll see. I would definitely recommend!

This stuff was great for slip-proofing a new shower stall! It's easy to apply - even though the roller seems tiny, it only took me about 10 mins to cover a large ADA compliant roll-in shower floor. I did two coats for best coverage and it looks fantastic. Barely visible bc it dries clear, and has kind of a satin sheen, not glossy. It's a sandy texture that grips well but isn't too scratchy on bare feet. Might scrape a bit if you fell on it, but so would most non-slip products. Best part is that it dried quickly and had very little solvent smell during application.

I bought this after my neighbor slipped in her shower and broke her armIt's easy to apply and there's enough to easily do two bathtubs. I've had it down for quite some time and there's no peeling or flaking. It dries completely clear.Much safer than a rubber bath mat.

This is the second time I purchased this.An EXCELLENT product to make a tub anti-slip.Very easy to apply. Only downfall is it is not easy to remove. But the tub feels so much safer after I use the product!!
