These are some of the best socks I've tried; they are warm and comfy. I have size 10 feet and thick calves, so I ordered size large. Perfect! These socks are comfortably snug, and they stay up without leaving compression marks on my legs. The colors are attractive and not too wild. I machine wash and hang to dry. I highly recommend these socks.

I took these socks on a cold hiking trip this year and they were great for staying warm in the cold wind and rain. They aren't itchy and they don't slide down, which are problems I've had with other wool socks. Just a heads-up, be sure to double check the size; I accidentally purchased a size too big, but it worked out!

These socks have great length up to knee. One pair has hole in tow after 6 wears. They make my feet sweat by end of day. I do live in Alaska so a bit unexpected. Perfect thickness for comfort. Fit inside my regular shoes boots w just a slight snug fit. They stretch well. They do not shrink in washer or dryer. Sometime I lay out to dry and other times I forget and no difference.

Very warm without being too thick. My husband loves how he can pull them up to damn near his knees and they stay up too

Bought these for our 19 year old who spends a lot of time in the barn with her mules. Seem very thick and soft. Will be great for these cold winter months.

so if you want something that comes up to just below your knee, these may not be for you (depends on your leg)on mine they just barely come up over my calf; For reference I'm 5 ft 3 and 140 lbs.It's kinda uncomfortable for me but you may prefer it this waythey are nice and warm and hopefully they will stay up! I'll come back and edit this if they don'tUPDATE- they do actually stay up quite well, which was surprising because they are not tight and feel quite comfortable. So I may order more in the large size- I'm just worried that the foot section will be too big and baggy
