I work in retail, and we go through label tape like candy for many reasons.Ordering these through my work's office supplier, these are $5 EACH, and I'm only allowed to order 2 per month. So you can imagine my disdain when I looked them up on the Blue Big Box store's website, and they were $20 for a 2-pack. At that price it's cheaper to just buy a new label maker!So THANK YOU to amazon and this seller for helping me keep my supply budget in check.As far as functionality goes, I use these with a Brother P-Touch with no issues. It prints nicely, the backing pels off with no problems, and once you put the labels on something, they stay put.

Worked OK. Less expensive than original brother tape but paid for it in contrast. Not as sharp or as dark letters, the lettering appears grayish rather than deep black. Don't know how or if it will age well and does make a difference in low light situations, Not a deal breaker but prefer the contrast and sharpness of the original. A positive is that the backing is split and allows for a much easier separation of sticky label from adhesive protective backing.

These tapes for my Brother M Tape P Touch 12mm work very well. I have had no issues and I'm very pleased with them. I would buy them again.

For years I'd only used Brother brand label tape in my Brother label maker. This is the first time I tried off-brand refills.This tape is thicker and required a little bit of fuss to load because it didn't pop into place correctly the first try. The tape came out of the guides but it was easy to thread it back.It prints just fine.Is split peel-off backing is much better than the single-piece backing of the Brother tape I'd used. It's much faster on the job to split and peel the backing halves instead messing around trying to find the corner with my fingernail.These knock-off tapes are much cheaper and have a split peel-off backing (yay!). The cartridge is a tiny bit tricky to load if the thick tape pops out of the guides but that minor issue is well worth the savings in cost and getting split backing.I know Brother makes split peel-off backing for other models and maybe for my model label maker, but I never saw it for my model.

I have a P-Touch labeler that uses M tape. I've had it since 2005 and it's still works as if it was new. It seems that brother M tape is very hard to come by these days and the alternative is just as good if not better than the original. I will purchase this brand again in the future.
