High precision and fast prints with excellent output quality. ( I use either a .8 or 1mm nozzle, not a weenie .4, for all my work and the extruder handles it effortlessly. ) The bed surface is a joy, holds the print in place well and releases it easily when cooled.My only criticisms regard minor firmware issues; for instance, if one decides to disable the part cooling fan temporarily during a print, they will discover that it will not turn back on later in the print.Also there is no way to incrementally increase or decrease printing speed slightly , one is stuck with 'Stable', 'Standard', or 'Sport' modes. This means one spends a lot of time dialing things in with the slicer/repeatedly loading the print file for every slight change in speed, a real pain in the butt. As all makers know, with a wide range of filaments and model parameters to work with, getting the exact perfect print speed can be a chore, and an incremental speed adjustment feature would save a lot of time.Another quibble is that Every time I shut the machine off and start it again later, the bed z calibration settings seem to vanish, requiring a bed level run on every startup, which consumes a lot of time.On the plus side, the motion-correction software seems to work quite well; the table I have the printer on shimmy's a bit but this does not affect the print quality.The pictures show my first project on the printer, a 420 hour print of 2 custom designed speaker enclosures in matte black PLA, along with a SPL graph of the finished result. They are double-walled with fine quartz sand between the walls.

If you purchase the Kobra 2 max as it currently stands (Nov 10, 22) you will be buying an unfinished product. You will be the beta tester for a printer that was sent to public before it was ready.This will be the 8th printer I've owned, and have been obsessed for a couple years now. So I have some perspective, but I'm definitely not a master at this craft.Pros:Good speedFairly decent qualityQuick(ish) setupHelpful online community of users (not the company)Cons:Inconsistent resultsOften stops mid print with no real rhyme or reason. Some say firmware, some say slicer, some think hardware, but no really knows. Not even the company.My bed began warping after 30ish hours of print time. The company said they would send a new one and it should arrive within 7-15 days. It's been 20 and it looks like it was returned to sender.It's loud, but this doesn't really bother me, so maybe a con for you.Overall it's just very underwhelming. Both the printer, the software and interacting with customer support. All subpar and I'd rather spend money in a way that brings more joy and peace of mind to my life. Unfortunately, this ain't it. I have another couple days to decide whether I'm going to return it. I'll see how Anycubic responds, I suppose, and go from there.

This is a fantastic printer, super fast and reliable. It may not be the easiest printer to use, but it's not bad. Took some time to figure out proper bed adhesion, but using the auto bed leveling prior to each print has resulted in flawless adhesion for over 100 prints now. HUGE upgrade from my old Ender 3.

I like several of the features, with self leveling the most important. If it runs out of filament, it stops until you refill it with a new spool. Nice flexible bed. I place the printer on a solid wood floor to print as if on a table that isn’t supported properly, it will shake the table and you will have a print failure. I know, it happened to me. Nice LED control screen, the ability to add a camera if you like.

This is currently still the largest 3d printer in its price range. In direct competition with the Elegoo Neptune 4 Max. When I bought this, I had tried to find larger printers in this price range that would be easy to set up, and there still appears to be none other than the Elegoo. I have used this off and on for the past few months, and I can't really say I am disappointed in any way. This printed is probably the easiest printer to use and just get set up within an hour and just simply start printing. But of course, the only reason to by this over any other printer is its size, and I knew I would be printing really large models so I wanted something really, really large, as large as I could get without breaking the bank too much. This really fit the bill since I had not bought a 3d printer before and wanted something easy to set up. But by all means, there actually isn't a reason to buy this printer over any other unless size is a deciding factor. If you need something to print big stuff, this is for you. Otherwise, there is no reason in buying this big thing. There are a couple of pros and cons to this printer. But hardly any actual cons.Pros:-This printer was fast to set up and really intuitive to just simply start printing.-The print quality is good.-Size is large.Cons:-The printer head cable goes BEHIND the printer head, which makes it look like it's going to prevent the printer head from moving all the way to the left side.-The printer head screws were very very annoying to screw in at set up. This is the only part that was annoying and took the longest to set-up. (nobody appears to have mentioned how annoying these things are)-Because of the size of the printer, the print quality is less than other printers out there in this price range.-There appears to be a problem where the print head nozzle will strike the edge of the model occasionally in an annoying way that will make it unstable. I don't think this is because of bed leveling, I believe this is just because of the software it uses on the chip. Enabling the experimental features to avoid crossing perimeters and overhangs in the Anycubic slicer will sort this problem out always.The Anycubic software is really easy and actually is rather well built, even if it is just copies PrusaSlicer. It's slightly buggier currently then PrusaSlicer but they are updating the software constantly and adding fixes/new settings. Some people have complained that because this printer has proprietary software for its chip set, it gets in the way of them using the slicer software they want. I really didn't notice this as a problem too much, since PrusaSlicer works with this, and their own provided slicer software is just a PrusaSlicer knock off. I didn't bother adding this to the cons list only because I didn't truly run into it as a problem with anything I ever needed. You may run into this as a problem later if you are doing strange stuff, but I wouldn't expect this to be a problem since this printer isn't meant to be really upgraded or built out of like some kits are. This printer is set up so that you can just simply print anything big you need to without having to worry about too much.According to some places, the print quality of this should be better than the Elegoo Max, which was the deciding factor in buying this over that printer. There is an "Arc" program on this which supposedly makes a smother finish and connection between layers.As of yet, I have not tried yet ABS or other filaments because they need a better nozzle and enclosure. However, I have never had this nozzle clog once. So, I would also expect there to be no problems with any filaments you use unless you are using some really terrible stuff. I put very cheap filament through this from no-name manufactures with fine results, so I can't imagine what you would be doing to make this clog.Ultimately, I would recommend this printer, even if the only reason to buy it is for its max print size. It's the best value in this range.

L’imprimante imprime très bien, je n’ai pour le moment utilisé que du PLA. Le plateau chauffant et le nivellement automatique du plateau facilitent son utilisation. On apprécie rapidement l’outil et au vu du prix je me demande si je n’aurais pas dû prendre la version plusieurs couleurs…. Au plus on imprime au plus on en veut…

Une excellente imprimante pour débuter ou agrandir son parc.En premier lieu elle possède tout ce dont ont a besoin, calibration du plateau, extrudeur direct drive, vitesse, facilité de montage et de réglage.Soyons franc je débute et c'est ma première imprimante, j'ai hésiter entre résine et filament et j'ai donc choisis la deuxième car plus simple pour apprendre les bases, et je suis pas déçu.L'imprimante arrive pré monté et avec tout ce qu'il faut pour la mettre en route. Ensuite test avec le benchy fournis et pas de soucis.Concernant les réglages la plupart du temps je les laisse de base ,a noté que quand l'on souhaite imprimé trop vite un bruit de vibration de courroie désagréable se fait entendre mais uniquement si le réglage vitesse est trop poussé.Après quelques impressions test pour se faire une idée du fonctionnement tout deviens facile. Ne pas oublier que les impressions auront systématiquement des lignes d'impressions et que donc elle n'est pas destiné a faires des figurines parfaite direct en sortie d'impression mieux vaut se tourner vers la résine dans ce cas. Mais pour tout le reste elle est parfaite.Au final sur les impressions que j'ai faite je n'ai que deux impressions qui sont partis en vrille mais c'est plus du au fichier télécharger plus qu'a l'imprimante en elle même.pour les points positifs:+ elle est rapide, parait lente quand imprime mais par rapport a d'autre elle ne se traine pas+ plusieurs format de fil sont engageable avec le direcdrive, on peut imprimé avec la quasi totalité des filament disponibles, il faut juste adapté les paramètres.+ le nivelage automatique permet un gain temps et de manipulation , il est précis surtout avec ses deux axes.+ possibilité de réglé la tension des courroies en fonctionnement sans outils+ le mode pause qui permet de changer de couleur en cour d'impressionConcernant les aspect négatif,- une boite de rangement intégré pour mettre les outils aurait été parfait- un pion de centrage pour remettre le plateau magnétique aurait été aussi pas mal, attention ne pas poussé le plateau une fois en place pour le centrer , les bord coupent.Bref vous l'aurez compris une imprimante bonne a tout faire avec une taille d'impression non négligeable et qui plus est rapide.j'en suis extremement content et elle m'as permis de franchir le pas de l'impression 3D.

Der Mega X kommt sehr gut verpackt. Alles ist mit Schaumstoff ausgepolstert das es sehr unwahrscheinlich ist das hier beim Transport etwas kaputtgeht.Im Paket findet sich neben dem Drucker noch ettliches Zubehör. Jede Menge Werkzeug, ein Filament-Runout Sensor, USB-Kabel, SD-Karte, USB-Stick und sogar ein Ersatzhotend.Bevor ich den Drucker aufgebaut habe warf ich erst einmal ein Blick ins Innere. Da der Mega bereits mein 8. Drucker aus China ist, wollte ich erstmal die Elektronik überprüfen.Ich war erstaunt über das Kabel-Management, denn dies ist sehr gut und kein Vergleich zu den anderen Druckern die ich bisher hatte. Alles ist geführt und alle Anschlüsse am verbauten 12V Meanwell Netzteil haben Kabelschuhe. Leider hat aber auch Anycubic hier die Enden am Mainboard und am Heizbett Mosfet mit Lötzinn statt Aderendhülsen versehen was zu einem Sicherheitsrisiko werden kann da das Lot durch den Druck der SChraubklemmen weich wird und so Übergangswiderstände entstehen, die im schlimmsten Fall zu einem Brand führen können. Deswegen empfehle ich nach Kauf die Enden einmal zu kürzen und mit passenden Aderendhülsen zu versehen.Als Mainboard ist, für Anycubic typisch, ein Trigorilla Board verbaut mit einem Touchscreen und einem Full-Size SD-Slot. Die Treiber würde ich von der PCB-Farbe her als A4988 einstufen, hier hätte ich mir in der Preisklasse TMC2208 oder ähnliches gewünscht. Allerdings macht dies jedoch garkeinen Unterschied, aber dazu später mehr. Über den Treibern ist zur Kühlung noch ein 50mm lüfter montiert.Die Endstops sind an der X- und Z-Achse mit mechanischen Schaltern und an der Y-Achse mit einem optischen Endschalter realisiert. An der Z-Achse gibt es je einen Endschalter und links und rechts die sich über eine Schraube justieren lassen. Dies sollte man auch direkt nach dem Aufbau einstellen, dafür einfach den Drucker in der Z Achse homen und den Abstand von der unteren "Box" bis zum 2020-Profil links und rechts messen und die Schrauben justieren bis der Abstand identisch ist.Für das Hotend setzt Anycubic ein modifiziertes E3D V5 PTFE Hotend ein. Statt eines Heatbreak zum Einschrauben ist es hier nur eingesteckt und wird dann durch 2 Schrauben an der Heatsink montiert. Der Bowdentube wird dann bis in den Heizblock geführt, weswegen man die Temperatur nicht über 255°C einstellen sollte da hier Teflon bereits anfängt zu gasen was ziemlich Gesundheitsschädlich ist.Als Thermistor wird ein standard NTC3950, allerdings ist dieser in einer "Cartridge" eingelegt und wird nicht wie typisch direkt am Kabel fixiert. Dies führt nämlich häufig dazu das es einen Kurzschluss auf der Leitung gibt, wenn die Schraube zum Fixieren zu stark angezogen wird. Die Nozzle ist eine standard E3D Nozzle und die Heizpatrone hat wohl die üblichen 40W bei 12V.Wenig überzeugt bin ich leider von dem verbauten Extruder. Hierbei handelt es sich um ein mäßig guten Klon des E3D Titan. Entgegen zum original ist das Förderrad nicht geschwungen, sondern einfach grade und allgemein wirkt er sehr billig. Es gibt kein Pfeile an dem Einstellrad für den Anpressdruck, sodass man raten muss, wo fest und wo lose ist.Der Aufbau gestalltet sich sehr leicht, einfach nur jeweils 4 Schrauben links und rechts montieren, den Filamenthalter montieren und schon ist die Hardware fertig aufgebaut. Jetzt noch die Stecker der Achsen in die Buchsen an der rechten Seite des Gehäuses stecken und der Drucker ist bereit für den ersten Start.Beim Starten begrüßt der Drucker einen mit einer Animation inkl. Sound. Nun nur noch das Bett leveln und schon kann gedruckt werden. Leider bietet Anycubic hier in der aktuellen Firmware-Version 1.2.6 kein Assistent für. Also muss man entweder die Motoren abschalten und das Hotend von Hand schieben oder in 10mm Schritten über den Touchscreen. Bei 300x300mm Druckfläche kann das aber schonma ordentlich nerven.Als ersten Druck wollte ich die beiden Eulen drucken, die sich auf dem USB-Stick befinden. Also das mitgelieferte Filament eingespannt und den Druck gestartet. Nach ca. 3mm kann man bereits erhebliches Stringing feststellen, weswegen ich den Druck dann abgebrochen habe. Beim Entfernen des Filament ist mir dann aufgefallen das dieses auch eine sehr merkwürdige Konsistenz hat, weswegen ich es erstmal bei Seite gepackt habe. Der 3D-Printing Nerd auf Youtube hatte genau das gleiche, ob es jetzt am Filament oder dem GCode liegt habe ich nicht weiter erforscht.Also hab ich dann selbst einen Testdruck gesliced. Hierfür benutze ich Simpify3D, Anycubic bietet aber auf dem USB-Stick eine relativ alte Cura-Version an, bzw sollten sich auch in aktuellen Cura-Versionen profile dazu wieder finden.Nachdem ich dann noch anderes Filament eingeworfen hab, lief der Druck dann auch wie gewünscht und ist für einen nicht kalibrierten Extruder und mässige Retraction-Settings ziemlich gut geworden. An den Overhangs erkennt man das der verbaute Lüfter zur Bauteilkühlung nicht grade sonderlich gut ist, dies ist aber eigentlich standard bei Druckern von chinesischen Herstellern.Die Druckbetthaftung auf der Ultrabase ist sehr gut bei PLA. Für PETG würde ich diese nicht verwenden, dass es oft dazu kommt das die Teile so gut haften das man Stücke aus der Glasplatte entfernt beim Lösen des Bauteils.Kommen wir nun zum großen Manko des Druckers. Die Lautstärke. Er ist nicht nur laut, sondern so laut das man trotz den verbauten A4988 Treibern nicht mal die Schrittmotoren hört. Wer vor hat an dem Drucker nichts zu verändern und ihm im Büro stehen haben möchte wird damit kein Spaß haben. Wenn der Drucker im Standby ist, hält es sich in Grenzen, sobald aber das Netzteil belastet wird geht die Party los. Ich persönlich werde alle Lüfter ersetzen, den im Netzteil und am Mainboard durch Noctua und am Hotend einen Sunon. Dann sollte er schon erheblich leiser sein.Fazit:Anycubic hebt sich hier in vielen Punkten klar von der Konkurrenz aus China ab. Der Aufbau ist super einfach, die Kabelführung ausgezeichnet und Out-of-the-box sehr gute Druckergebnisse. Wer ein wenig basteln möchte kann hier leicht Optimierungen vornehmen wie z.B. TMC-Treiber, leise Lüfter, All-Metal-Heatbreak, besserer Bowdenschlauch und und und...Wer einen Drucker zum Einstieg mit Potenzial sucht macht bei dem Mega X aufjedenfall nichts falsch. Trotz Abstrichen ist die Preis/Leistung sehr gut.Pro:- sehr einfacher Aufbau- gutes Kabelmanagement- Meanwell Netzteil- sehr gute Qualität Out-of-the-box- gute Haftung auf der Ultrabase- viele Teile des i3 Mega kompatibel, sowohl Druckteile als auch Hardware- sehr viel Zubehör- Firmware, Profile und Handbuch bei Anycubic downloadbar- Touchscreen- Steckbare Treiber- Preis/LeistungContra:- extrem Laut- Lot auf Kabelenden statt Aderendhülsen- kein Level-Assistent- nur 12V statt 24V- von Werk keine TMC-Treiber

Montage facile et nécessite peu de réglage. Acheter en remplacement d'une des premières générations, j'ai été agréablement surpris par la précision, la vitesse et le faible bruit. De plus, grâce au ventilateur de refroidissement du filament (un peu bruyant quand même ) j'ai été impressionné par l'impression en porte à faux important sans support. Je recommande ce produit et de plus , elle est reconnue dans Cura.
