I was going to return it but asked the seller for instructions. Once received, I had it temporarily connected for testing within five minutes. Great product.

Purchased over a year ago and installed in a portable power station running 24/7. No problem so far.

It shows voltage and amperage draw, which is exactly what I want. I’ve only got a peak of about 30 amps on the amp reading, so I never had a chance to max it out to the 50 amp rating, so I kinda believe it. It’s just that it didn’t come with instructions and it is not self-explanatory on how to set it up. But there are users who uploaded the instructions in the reviews section, so that was super helpful. It’s a great product once or have the instructions to set it up.

Thought this amp meter was more sensitive and accurate. Only reads down to 1 amps minimum. Seems accurate but it isn't, about 10 to 20 percent inaccurate. You can't read anything under 1 amp. It doesn't register on this meter, garbage. I don't understand the great reviews, this thing is a joke for accuracy.Plus there is no way to adjust voltage and current. The two adjustment screws do not work at all, no change. I tried hooking this meter up to a 100 amp shunt, but it was not accurate at all. It's not even accurate with it's own 50 amp shunt either. This meter is only calibrated for it's 50 amp shunt that comes with this amp meter, but again it's not precise at all. All over the place. The most accurate amp meters are analog meters. Old school is better.

Work great

These worked great for an older Diehard battery charger. Had to figure out how to hook up properly to get volts and amp to display properly. Small black wire did need to be connected. Had to adjust a bit for volts to be accurate with my bench meter. Current shunt is the way to go on these chargers. Original design the needle gauge was melted(current flowed directly thru meter).

These are great if you know how to set them up but dropped two stars for no Instructions

Another commentor posted the correct wiring diagram which makes the difference between the meters not working (often burning out) and a decent usable meter. HE gets FIVE stars for posting it!A wiring diagram is a neccessity but is not included. The hookup is counterinutive with which color wires do what. The ammeter measures current on negative (ground), not the positive as commonly assumed. Also, the thin Yellow wire reads voltage. The thin Red wire is a "switch" that turns the meter on when connected to positive and off if not connected. The thin Black wire is not connected.Plus! This is 50A version has TWO different hookup options: 1. Using a separate external power source that is NOT part of the circuit. OR 2. Using the power source of the circuit you are measuring. The shunts I received seem to be better quality that the ones shown in the picture. The amps display updates at one second intervals. (1Hz).---Notes that might be helpful with all of these different LED Volt/Ammeters:-The 10A version is powered by the circuit it is measuring.-The 50A version can be powered either by the circuit it is measuring or a separate power source.-The 100A must be powered by a separate power source.
